Well made & perfect fit
My daughter wears an 8. So I was concerned about size and if it will be a true fit. I ordered 8-1/2. Just in case, they fit with some wiggle room. So this slipper is a perfect fit. 8 would ad fit her perfect. The slippers are very well made and look great. I can't believe the price was this low. Fast shipping. Will definitely purchase here again.

I love these dance shoes.
I use to wear these dance shoes all the time when I taught and performed years ago. I tried purchasing the medium width at another store, recently, because they didn't have narrow. Had to return them because they were too big. The narrow hugs my feet and feels perfect and I do not have narrow feet, they are actually a bit wide. I wear a size 6.5- 7 shoe and buy these in a 7.

Great Shoes
Really like these shoes. They don't look awful and get the job done. Stayed intact through a whole run of a show and plan on using them for hopefully years to come.

Only jazz shoe my daughter will wear
My 8-year old has tried on many shoes and this is the only one she will wear. She likes the elastic on the side rather than on top, as she says it feels better. An the Bloch shoe seems to have a deeper arch. But beware: these shoes do run small (as with most dance shoes). She normally wears a 3 in girl's shoes, or 5 1/2 in women's, and she currently wears a 6 1/2 in this shoe. I recommend order a size larger than your normal shoe. Otherwise, these are great!

Perfect fit for wider feet with the side elastic
My daughter’s favorite shoe with her wider feet. The only shoe she will wear.

Not the same quality as in store
These jazz shoes are cheap for a reason. I don't cheap out on dance shoes for performance or in the studio. I wanted something just for home practice, understanding that these would be lower quality but serviceable. Yeah, no - not comfortable. The sizing is fine, and I bought my usual size in Bloch shoes which is a half size larger than my street shoes. Idk why their sizing info in the "About this item" and "From the manufacturer" sections is all different and contradictory to the size chart in the images. If I were buying Bloch shoes for the first time, this would be so confusing. If you're going to wear these with socks instead of tights, go up one full size from your normal street shoe size for thin socks and up 1.5 sizes for thicker socks. The shoes dig into the bottom side of my ankles, as does the tongue into the top part of my foot where it bends. I've had these for several months, and while they've softened a bit, these parts are still distractingly uncomfortable. Even for just home casual practice, I wouldn't buy these again. For parents - please have your children try on shoes in store. Shoes are the most important dance components. Poorly constructed and/or ill fitting shoes can directly affect posture, performance, and even cause injury. Because any type of dance shoe is so different from street shoes, it can be difficult for children, even adults, to articulate how they fit or don't fit. I absolutely understand the convenience and savings of ordering online, but keep in mind the hassle if they don't fit. Being fitted in store is more effort upfront but eliminates all these other issues. I know better, and even I needed to relearn this lesson the hard way!

My daughter loves these jazz shoes. The fit is excellent, with the right amount of grip to prevent slipping but allow multiple turns. She dances 10+ hours each week and we generally purchase one new pair a year. Great shoe that is durable and long lasting.
