DEWALT has been my go-to brand for power tools for years, and this grinder continues to uphold the company’s reputation for delivering top-notch, durable, and reliable tools.Let’s talk about the performance—this grinder is a powerhouse! With its 8,000 RPM motor, it easily tackles even the toughest cutting and grinding jobs. Whether I’m grinding metal, cutting through concrete, or working on DIY projects, this grinder has the power I need to get the job done efficiently. It doesn’t stall, and it stays cool even after extended use, which is something I really appreciate in a tool.One feature I absolutely love is the Quick-Change Wheel Release. As someone who’s used grinders that require a wrench to change the wheels, I can tell you that this tool-free wheel removal is a game-changer. It makes switching out wheels incredibly easy, saving me so much time and frustration. The tool-free guard adjustment is another convenience that adds to the overall ease of use—no need to struggle with a wrench when adjusting the guard position, which makes it so much quicker to move between tasks.DEWALT also thought about comfort and control with this grinder. The 2-finger trigger switch with the lock-off button makes it easy to activate and provides a more comfortable grip. I especially appreciate the 2-position side handle, which gives me more control and comfort, particularly during longer projects. I can easily switch positions to ensure I’m always in the most ergonomic and efficient stance.I also love that this is a bare-tool model. Since I already have other DEWALT 20V tools, I can use the same batteries, which is both cost-effective and convenient. I don’t have to worry about buying extra batteries or chargers, which is a huge plus in my book.The 4.64-pound weight is just right—not too heavy to make it cumbersome but sturdy enough to give me the balance and control I need. The construction feels solid, and I have no doubt this grinder will hold up for years to come. DEWALT always makes tools that are built to last, and this grinder is no exception.Overall, I can’t recommend the DEWALT DCG412B enough. I've used corded angle grinders for many years and I never expected a cordless angle grinder to be worthwhile. I was pleasantly surprised that this angle grinder works amazingly well. With steady use, the battery will discharge after several minutes, so it's helpful to have a second battery on standby. However, for most standard applications it's worth not dealing with a cord getting in the way. This has plenty of power to work as expected.

Great tool bought for my husband Dewalt is his favorite go to brand he says they are true best plus the price was right also very reasonable

This DeWalt 20V Grinder is a great value for DIY or hobbyist use. It has a comfortable grip and works great on most tasks. Its can cut through sheet metal and rebar fairly easily (with a quality cut-off wheel). Also, with the grinder disc, makes it easy to clean off burrs and other jagged edges. It is fairly compact, not as small as corded grinder, but this is offset by the portability.

I picked this up on sale for less than $70. Of course, as are all DeWalt tools, it is great! I have never bee a big fan of the yellow and black, but the quality and reliability is certainly worth the little lack of visual appeal.

I love DeWalt tools. I really do. I think almost every tool I own is a DeWalt. And this is a really good grinder. I wasn't even that irritated that it didn't come with a battery or any blades, because the 20v batteries are so interchangeable. The only issue I have is the extremely short battery life! And I do mean SHORT. A fully charged short pack gives you about 5 minutes of use on this thing. Switched it to the thick pack that I use on my chainsaw and that bumped it up to about 15 minutes or use. If you are a contractor or something other than a home improvement DIY'er, this thing would be a serious disappointment! Everything else about it, I love. The grip, the weight... But man, it sucks the life out of a battery!

This thing works better than I expected. I love that it’s can go anywhere with you. Well worth the money will definitely keep buying products like this.

I use these at work cutting rebar, with a wire wheel, and with a concrete grinding wheel on a daily basis. It’s a well-designed grinder that cuts and grinds very well. We have several, and they have all been in use for years, now. They are easily assembled, and switching blades and wheels is easy. Very durable grinder I used for years, and now I have my own.
