Premium Duffle Bag
I've been making fairly recent 3-5 day trips to Chicago. I was looking around at duffles but a lot of the high end luxury duffles suffer from a sagginess issue, wherein heavier clothes pull the material downward and it causes it to look sloppy. The construction of this duffle bag helps spread the weight out across the entire structure, not just the bottom and/or the sides. The inside is perfectly padded, so you feel like your stuff is protected without feeling like you're weighed down with protection. The design is unique because the entire lining of the bag is basically a large suit pocket, so you can fully unzip the duffle bag, throw your suit or dress in, and then zip it back up. This adds so much room and also helps spare you wrinkling for nice attire. The inside storage capacity is very nice! I can easily fit 3 days worth of clothes, usually 1-2 outfits per day. In a pinch I think I could fit 5-7 days worth of clothes. This is all without any suit/dress in the lining. I also did not bring extra shoes with me. If I did have an extra pair of shoes and a suit, I expect I could get 3 days at most with 1 outfit per day.The quality of the bag is superior and what you'd expect for nearly $400. The zippers are buttery smooth and self healing. They did snag a couple times when I was stuffing the bag for returning home but I mean I was stuffing the bag. The zippers easily held and there was no permanent damage from the snags. To date there aren't any loose threads or any other weird construction defects or sign of low quality. The strap is the perfectly length and the padded shoulder protector is super comfortable. They also positioned the strap rings at the perfect spot, so the duffle sits nicely against the side and kinda pushes up on you. You don't get the feeling like the duffle is getting away from you, which is nice if you're in a crowded area so you're not whacking people on your sides.Overall: the main reason for buying this bag is the amazing manufacturer's guarantee. I have no doubt that this duffle bag will live up to its pricetag. It feels premium, it looks premium, and when paired with the B&R roller suitcases, it's a superior combination that can easily outfit you for 1-2 weeks together. Highly recommend!

Just What I Needed
I only own Briggs & Riley luggage so when I needed a weekend duffle, this brand was my immediate go to. It is very spacious with two inner side pockets plus a small outside pocket. It has a very comfortable shoulder strap and has loops on both sides that can be fixed to provide rigidity so things don’t slide. It’s the perfect size for a three day visit and is within guidelines to bring on a plane. It also seems well made like all their other products. It also has a lifetime warranty. It’s not cheap, but if you want a high quality duffel look no further.

Folds Flat, When Needed
Update: Worked well as a second piece of checked luggage, for two different people (i.e., two of these duffle bags), on a long international trip which required three flights each way to reach a remote destination.I will likely typically use these bags as back-up, packed flat luggage most of the time. Regardless, the two bags purchased easily handled being heavily packed checked luggage. Happy with this purchase.Original: Initially ordered a different Briggs & Riley duffel bag, but it would have not folded flat enough for easy packing, to be used as a back-up duffel bag when traveling (i.e., for a return flight, when an additional piece of luggage was desired) as well as I was underwhelmed by the zipper quality on the other B&R duffel bag. This duffel bag was on sale, so I decided to try it. I have not yet used the bag, but it appears to be well made, the zippers function well (better than the other B&R duffel bag), this duffel easily slides over the handles of my rolling luggage as well this duffel could be packed and used as additional luggage when returning from a trip.

Great carry on bag, matches carry on, will last forever
Great bag that is more flimsy than previous model. Perfect for airplane travel, I wouldn’t get this bag to use as a gym bag, as it’s overkill. I was on the fence with going with this bag vs an older version. The older was more stiff, rugged and could stand up on its own. This bag you want to be flimsy and stretchy if you are using it for it’s intended purpose, which is under a seat on a plane. It’s a little snug under a seat, but I just took it to France with zero issues. It matches perfectly my 21’ spinner carry on. The zippers are high quality and plenty of pockets for storage. My one complaint if any would be to have the strap updated to the new baseline look (strap matches older logo/model) and bring back the magnet in the back to connect to itself!!! Let me be clear, the bag slides over the handle fine and fits well. But When you slide the duffle over a carry on handle, the older model had a magnet so your bag wouldn’t slide. This, the strap gap is too wide and the bag can slide side to side, especially when you lift the bag over a large curb or onto an escalator. Fix that and it’s 5 stars all around

Perfect for short trips
I don't know how I missed this for so long. Love my B&R luggage. Yes, it's expensive, but if you're going to travel, this is the best you can get. I have the weekend duffle and it's OK for driving trips or to pack as an extra bag for longer trips when we need to bring back gifts. This bag is great for a short, 2-3 day, trip; especially when your travels include a small regional jet. The size and shape are perfect for under the seat or the small overhead luggage compartments.

Great duffel, so-so for pairing with carry on
The duffel is great. It exactly fit the space under the seat in front of me during takeoff. I pulled it back during the flight some I had more leg room. When paired with the B&R carry-on, I thought it would fit better. The loop that slides over the handle is hard to slip over because it’s too tight, and then the bag slowly rotates around the side of the handle because the loop is too loose. I would have liked the bag to be a bit more structured and have the attachment system from the newer rolling cabin bags, both of which would help it sit on my carryon better.
