Desmond Huntington # 0 Wheel Dresser

The media could not be loaded. Worth the price because this is a top quality wheel dressing tool. I’ve tried other versions and brands but nothing works as well as this style and brand.The flat square dressing tools with the abrasive on them are junk as are the lesser brands of this style. This is NOT a tool that you want to fail. I always where a full face shield when using this dressing tool.This tool is heavy duty, well made, tough and the dressing wheels can be replaced. The cast iron handle has a great feel.The 80 grit wheel on my grinder in the video had a 1/8 inch gouge in the center of the wheel. I was able to remove that gouge in about 75 seconds. I shot a shorter video for brevity and upload speed.You get the idea from the video how this dressing tool works. Hope that helps!

Very easy to use - just hook the tool over the inner edge of the shelf, lift the back of the handle and move squarely back and forth across the grinder wheel. Well-made.

Watch a YouTube video to be sure it is used properly and don’t overuse it - no need to take too much off of stone wheels.

My grinder wheel had never been dressed or trued in 15 years. This tool made it look brand new in about 45 seconds.

Haven't dressed my wheels with it yet, but I love this tool just as a piece of American manufacturing. It's art. That said, if you are a home shop with typical 8.5 inch grinding wheels, do not get anything bigger than the 0 size! Even the 0 is huge. These are built for real machine shops with real equipment, but worth having in your hobby garage.

Shaped and removed contamination making the wheel like new, with minimal material loss. Good product.

It cleaned up my 8 inch grinder wheels nicely. I'll see how it holds up.

I have bought cheaper ones before. Don't waste your money. Just buy this one and save money and frustration. This works great.
