Fantastic book
This book arrived quickly and was well packed. It’s not as thick as I was expecting, but even so, it’s jam caked full of really original and quirky alphabets. This is a definite keeper for my collection.

Fun, Creative Book!!!
This book is such a fun book!!! I love the great variety of the lettering examples, and the various doodles. Suzanne McNeill always has fun, creative books. This is a great book for anyone that is interested in learning new techniques in lettering, especially for Scrapbooking.

Cute alphabets. Easy to follow instructions.
This book is great for encouraging kids to work on handwriting. It's so much more fun to draw fancy letters than to write plain ones, but the writing fine motors skills are developing either way.

Great for scrapbooking
Simple but great. Lovely ideas. Maybe not for everyone, but I love scrapbooking and it has lovely ideas to add.

Wonderful but HARD
This book is very inspiring--I get excited just looking through it and thinking of all the things I could use lettering on. However, when I try it, they never look nearly as good as Kathleen's (the artist) originals. The designs are fun, amazingly varied, and creative (overused word in crafting, but highly deserved here), but the book gives you very little instruction on how to actually DRAW the letters. There are no dotted guidelines (like in a first-grader's tablet) to help you with height and width proportion, and only one letter per alphabet is described in any detail as an example of the steps you need to to take in actually getting the letters onto paper. I know practice makes perfect, and she advises you to be patient, but if you're not an artist and never will be (like me), your work will never satisfy your desire to be happy with your results. The book is content-rich with lots of samples of borders, envelopes, pages, titles, frames, note cards, place cards, etc. Every page is in full color and packed from margin to margin with different patterns and designs--I could look at it for hours. She gives you corner and center designs, ideas for holiday/seasonal/event/people lettering, and shows how to combine "things" using letters, such as a flower pot with letters as flowers. Makes my mouth water just to look at them, and I want to wander through the house putting letters on every wall. I just wish I had the skill to do it!
