I love to bake but my least favorite task is cutting butter for pie dough. I never make pie, all because of this one task. This attachment is the best. I'm so glad I ordered one. I've made several pies with it and the dough has turned out perfectly. I threw out my hand cutter.

Built good, easy to use, storage in drawer bowl, nice design, good durability and good weight.

I got this for cutting butter into pastry dough, but found it helpful for making meatloaf. I had quit making meatloaf as the cold meats were painful to mix with my arthritic hands and wrists. Now I can make meatballs, meatloaf, and specialty hamburger patties instead of relying upon premade frankenfood.I can add healthy and tasty alternatives. Instead of crushing crackers I can use vegetable protein, add sprouts, mushroom pieces, seeds, grated carrot/beet, or whatever.Easy and a smooth texture after cooking. I couldn’t blend the ingredients long enough to get that perfect texture until I used my kitchenaid with this easy clean mixing paddle.

I have been baking pies for almost 60 years. Used to cut with 2 table knives then with pastry cutter but this is wonderful!!! I just love it and it is worth every penny,I thought will it work any better than the cutter, do I really. Need it! Apparently yes!

Works like a dream and very useful when using a lot of butter. Helped cream the butter and sugar very well. Easier to clean than the whisk but isn't my favorite tool to clean. Still great and happy to have it!
