I love the full stainless steel idea. how long / wide are the paddles?

Hi there, When the paddles are folded in, as they should be when inserting into the carboy neck, the paddles are approximately 0.9" wide by 2.95" long. The thickness of the rod plus the two paddles when folded in is also approximately 0.9". They are designed to be inserted into all carboy sizes.

Can it be use for peanut butter? I have two gallons of it

Don't think I'd use it for peanut butter, unless it is already liquidized.....

Since this is food grade steel can it be used to whirlpool beer at the end of the boil?

Yes, just make sure that it is clean and sanitized before you use it.

Could this be used to blend reclaimed paper for paper making?

These stirrers are designed to blend much less viscous mixtures, however, the metal version is quite strong. We do believe that it would work sufficiently if you used spun the drill at the highest speed.
