Wow does not look anything like the picture. The butterflies are cheap and ugly. I can't believe how small and tacky this is. It's not staying up. So overpriced. Would never give as a gift.

It is a crossed strung wire ball about the size of a baseball - it lights up after dark with pretty light blue 'beads'.However you will see from the pic that the butterflies are not the same as advertised - they are bigger and are attached by safety pins - other reviews have pointed this out - too late for me.The original advertised item has many more smaller butterflies, neatly 'welded' in place.The whole item is still pretty lit or unlit - you could even remove the butterflies - it would still be pretty.A few people describe it as cheap and nasty - Definitely cheaper looking and the price is too high

Vey small but looks nice and is bright but not worth the money

Excellent solar light, works with very little sun and is very bright, bought as a gift for my mom and she loves it, the only negative is that it is on a long string and because it is lightweight it does bash into the branches of the tree so it’s best to put inside until weather settles.

Can’t be bothered to return but really poorly made & smaller than expected although I did check measurements. The butterflies are attached with safety pins and ball only suspended by plastic coated wire so don’t think it will last long in any wind or rain. Not often I complain about purchases I make on Amazon as I usually check out well but obviously slipped up on this one.

Christmas present. Well received and looks very pretty in the garden.
