Beautiful Soft Light – A Must-Have Modifier for Flash Photographers!
The MagMod MagSphere has completely elevated the way I use my flash. If you’re into event photography, portraits, or on-location work, this little dome makes a huge difference in the quality of your light. What I love most is how it spreads and softens the light beautifully, giving that natural, diffused glow without harsh shadows. It’s perfect for bouncing light off walls or ceilings indoors, and it creates a very flattering look on skin—clients always notice the difference.Build quality is solid and durable, like all MagMod products. The silicone material feels tough yet flexible, and it squishes flat for easy storage in your bag. The magnetic mount system is genius—super fast and secure, no more messing around with Velcro or straps. Just snap it on and go.Yes, it’s a bit more expensive than some off-brand diffusers, but you get what you pay for. The ease of use, consistency, and quality of light make it 100% worth it.Pair it with the MagGrip and other MagMod modifiers and you’ve got a portable, professional lighting system that fits in your pocket. Highly recommended for any flash user who wants soft, clean, and pro-level results.

This is all I use now on my AD200 Pro
Simple. I love it. Fits on my AD200 Pro (with a little muscle when putting on the band). I use this for weddings and portraits and it works very nicely to diffuse the light. I have a couple other modifiers for my AD200, one being a softbox (26" octagon) and the other is the AD-S2. What I like most about the MagMod is the size and ease of use. It's small and portable, and I can hand hold the AD200 while I shoot. If I'm getting too much direct light, I just aim it up or use it as a bounce. Very nice for run-n-gun. It can be used with my godox flash on camera flash as well, so I can swap it around as needed. In the photo, I used it in a dark wooded area with a stream to fill because the subject was backlit. Combined with the AD200, it's a great modifier and will last a long time.

Worth the hype!
Background. I own a few V1S and V100S, and I put this guy on my V100S. I was already in love with my V100S, I used a silicone diffuser, but it was small and didn't spread enough light in really dark scenarios. I was hoping that this guy would live up to they hype and I have to say, it lived up to it and then some. It's difficult to put on, I won't lie to you, but it is so beyond worth it. I actually shut off one of my softboxes because of the power of the V100S and this thing. It's incredibly functional, practical and worth every penny. Even though it looks big, it doesn't add any weight whatsoever. I can't speak to the sturdiness, but I do appreciate the array of accessories the brand offers, as well as the carrying case it came with to avoid lint on the bulb.

Effective, BUT …
Mahmoud solves the solitary weakness of Godox V1 and V1 Pro flashes: the Godox magnets are weak and modifiers are very easily knocked off. By contrast, MagMod’s magnets firmly secure their modifiers to the flash. There are only two reasons I give this product four starts versus five and find myself wrestling if I want to add a second system to my kit:1. The base is very difficult to put on the flash and to adjust orientation after the fact.2. It does fit on the V1 and av1 Pro, but it makes carrying those flashes in their pouches difficult. While the flashes fit in their OEM pouches, the MagMod base prevent the pouch’s Velcro top to seal. Those may be nit-picky critiques, but I firmly believe that the MagMod system’s value comes its ability to fix a design flaw with the V1 and V1 Pro and that the product creates new (arguably lesser) problems is, from a pro’s point of view, noteworthy.

It's perfect for events photography
The price could be a bit lower but it does its job very well so It's not that bad.Getting the rubber thing onto the flash was hard and we needed 2 people to get it on our AD200 and V1. But because it's hard I don't think it will come off easily. The dome is great, good quality light and diffusion, I use it mostly for events and weddings but starting to use it more for Real estate photography as well since it's pretty diffused.Should have include the honeycomb grid or CTO gels in my opinion with this price but that's fine
