Connect the device with the inserted memory card to the computer, or you can use the included card reader instead. The device will be recognized as a Removable USB Disk. Open this drive. To view photo files, open folder “PHOTO”. To view video files, open folder “VIDEO”. To edit the Timestamp: Open the time.txt file in an editor like Notepad and set the desired time and date along with ‘N’ or ‘Y’ at the end format. For example, 20170726152035 Y (to enable display on video files) or N (if you do not want the date and time stamp displayed on video files) After saving the file, disconnect the video camera from the computer and turn it on. Take the pen apart by unscrewing at the center Disassembly Point. 2. Plug one end of the USB cable into the pen’s camera USB port and plug the other end into your computer USB port or a portable battery charger (the charging time is about 1-2 hours) Step #2 – TURNING ON 1. To turn on the device - press and hold the ON/OFF Button on the top of the pen for 3 seconds. The Green LED will start flashing, and it means the pen is on and in READY to use. Step #3 – VIDEO RECORDING 1. Start recording with the device by pressing the ON/OFF Button on the top of the pen for 2 seconds. 2. Check the status light. The Green LED will blink several times to indicate that the recording is about to begin. 3. Press the ON/OFF Button again to stop recording and save data. Step #3 – TAKING PHOTOS 1. Take photos with one quick click on the ON/OFF Button. 2. The Green LED will blink once to indicate that it has captured a photo and returned it to Standby Mode.
