Q: Will it run Win 7 pro on a Dell 9300 laptop?

If your Dell 9300 laptop is using an IDE interface for your hard drive, then the answer is yes. I installed it on Dell C610 and then install Windows 7 Home, though Windows 7 is running fine it has some limitations due to the lack of video driver. The installation of this SSD is also tricky, as it thinner than regular IDE laptop drive.

The 128 GB is my choice. The 64 GB is less cost but it restricts the flexibility of your computer. Take a look at the dimensions of the SSD to be sure that it will fit your laptop. the

TRIM is supported on this drive according to the manufacturer's website. You will need a third party program to send TRIM commands to the drive on Windows Vista and earlier (I don't have a recommendation for NT-based OSs), including Windows 9x and DOS (use Rudolph R. Loew's trim.exe from the Internet Archive, but it can only do FAT32, not FAT16).

Die Transcend-SSD hat als eines von wenigen Modellen den seit Jahren nicht mehr üblichen IDE / PATA-Anschluss und kann deshalb in URALTEN Notebooks eingesetzt werden.Mein Sohn nutzt so ein dampfgetriebenes Uralt-Notebook (Typ Dell Latitude D610), das unter Windows Vista überwiegend mit sich selbst beschäftigt war: Bootzeiten von 10-15 Minuten. selbst das Herunterfahren dauerte rd. 3 Minuten.Die Transcend-SSD kam in hochwertiger Verpackung inkl. Einbauanleitung und Schrauben. Der Wechsel der Platte hat knappe 3 Minuten gedauert, die Platte wurde sofort vom BIOS erkannt.Nach Neuinstallation startet Windows Vista nun innerhalb von knapp 90 Sekunden, Herunterfahren dauert rd. 45 Sekunden - der Geschwindigkeitszuwachs liegt damit zwischen dem 4- und 10-fachen Tempo.Mein Fazit: SEHR GUT ANGELEGTES GELD.

Funciona perfectamente

Ideal para instalar el sistema operativo utilizando el puerto IDE/PATA (aunque hace falta adaptador a 40 pines si lo vas a poner en un PC de sobremesa). De esta forma dejas los puertos SATA para otros usos (datos, media, un RAID, etc.). 32 GB suficiente para Windows server 2008 + Plex MS + Office + Qbittorrent
