OXO Good Grips Wide Butter & Cream Cheese Dish, White

Nice size and works just fine. I use this for 8oz cream cheese you buy in a box. I cannot stand how the aluminum that it comes in always rips horribly so I bought this as a replacement and it works perfectly. Cream cheese sticks to the bottom and I’m able to scrape it off with ease to apply to my bagels. Made from sturdy plastic. Looks just like the pictures. Clear on top white on the bottom. Simple to use.

I searched for a butter dish for such a long time, and I wanted something decorative and heavy duty. I like to keep the butter in the fridge. I’m glad I decided on this Oxo butter dish because it’s much more practical than what I had in mind. It fits well in my fridge, I like that it is lightweight and sturdy, and I like that it has anti-skid bottom pieces to keep it from sliding around. I also feel that it goes well in my fridge and helps things to not look cluttered.

Fits kerrygold

I needed a butter dish to hold euro-size bricks of butter like KerryGold and the butter Costco sells. This is just perfect. As an aside, this butter is much denser and has more fat (and flavor) than what's made in America. This dish holds it secure and keeps it fresh. The only negative, which is a minor one, is that it's plastic. Overall, I personally would have preferred a ceramic piece. The quality is great and cleans up well in the dishwasher.

Due to arthritis in my hands, I had to move from a porcelain dish to this lighter butter dish. The dish holds 1/2 pound of butter easily and there’s enough rim left to avoid getting butter in the clear top. The handles are easy to grip and don’t slip in my hands. There’s also a raised rim between the butter plate and the handles, and it helps in placing the lid and lower it without it touching the butter. Sleek and stylish, and easy on my hands!

We didn’t notice when we ordered it, but our new refrigerator didn’t come with a butter bin. We were pretty surprised, but we guess it went the way of the former egg bins. After searching for something that would meet our needs, we found this dish. It works great, is well made and sturdy, fits two sticks of butter on the dish, and is easy to clean. The dish takes up a small amount of space, and we designated a specific place in the fridge for it, so we always know where to reach for it.

I bought 2, one for cream cheese block and one for block of Irish butter. Works great for both. Less plastic containers to have to put in recycling. OXO products are always good.

The first two of these that I bought arrived cracked, but Amazon replaced them right away. I love that my Kerry Gold butter or a block of cream cheese fits in this butter dish. I ran them through the dishwasher and they came out clean and still looking new (no damage to the plastic on the top rack).

La mantequilla de 225g. Cabe Perfecto y es muy cómodo su uso. Lo recomiendo ampliamente!

Comprei uma para substituir outra que quebrou-se por acidente, após um uso intensivo de mais de 15 anos. Muito bom!

Très joli beurrier plastique - de grande taille, ce qui permet d'y mettre un beurre de 500 gr 😊

👍Calidad de los materiales. Entra la mantequilla del tamaño más habitual en el mercado. Entra en la puerta de la nevera.👎Echo en falta las paredes laterales de la base para que no se pueda desplazar la mantequilla fuera.

The design and construction of this butter dish seems good in general, but it isn't what I hoped for. A 500g chunk of butter that I bought at the store fits on the base of the butter dish, but the lid isn't tall enough; even if I press it down so that it's touching the butter, it doesn't touch down onto the base as it should (the lid is still about 1 cm or so above the base, so the butter is exposed to air). I don't really like it touching the top of the butter either. I'm disappointed because I really wanted a dish that would accommodate a 500g piece of butter easily.
