MUST have minimum 2 turned on, as all times to work.
I liked the design of the item, and the clicker to switch pc's.. but the reason of returning is that with this KVM switch you had to have a minimum of 2 pc's on at all times, otherwise the device turned off all function. This tidbit of info I could not find in the item description..

Hot Garbage. Buy something else.
I have been fighting with this thing for 2 months and I am done. This little nugget has given me a truckload of bugs.Minor problems:You MUST have 2 devices connected and powered ON to use the KVM at all.Only using one computer at the moment? KVM is lifeless.Using 2 computers but one goes to sleep? It's Dead Jim.Does not accept just USB or just HDMI input from a device, HDMI AND USB must be connected and active to use a port.Backlit keyboards wold cause the switch to refuse to power on 10% of the time. Regular keyboard was slightly more reliable.Short cables.Inexcusable problems:About twice a week KVM would get stuck in a loop switching between 2 devices back and forth. Buttons on the device did nothing. Only way to power cycle the device is to remove all 4 device connections and display out connection, wait for 10 seconds then reconnect and hope. I have had to bypass the device multiple times to get work done.Phantom switching between devices without user input.Monitor and USB connections randomly disconnect independently.It's all e-waste now because of the proprietary cables.

Fungerar efter lite grafikbyte.
Allt jag har kopplat till den fungerar med mus och tangentbord men 2 av mina 5 pc fick jag inte bild på från början så jag stoppade i ett par gamla grafikkort jag hade liggande och då fick jag bild på de 2 sista också. Byter snabbt emellan pc och fjärrkontrollen fungerar om man har fri sikt fram till kvm:en. Sladdkontrollen fungerar alltid tillsammans med knapparna på framsidan. Jag är mycket nöjd för det priset. Jag kör Arrogant tangentbord och Logitech MX Master 3 mus + Aoc 4K skärm. 3 Intel och 2 Amd alla på Windows 10 Pro.

Don’t waste your time and money…
The highest resolution I could get with this KVM in line is 1680x1050px!I am connecting two PCs to a single high quality 32” monitor but any resolution (with it inline) past 1680x1050px won’t get past this device.Back to Amazon it goes!

Updated 13 FEB 2023Had issues with switch 5 months in the keyboard/mouse started acting up, then lost video I contacted Yinker costumer service they were really good at responding after a couple emails they discovered I received the old all black HDMI cables I was sent a test pair of the updated blue ended cables and it fixed all my problems way to go YINKER quick response stand behind their products and sent me all 4 new blue end cables under warranty. Great company to order from will refer friends who are looking for an Excellent online retailer of KVM switches. If I need anything else, I know who I will be ordering from. Thanks for standing behind your products, keep up the great work.Works Good
