Legendary Whitetails Men's Maverick Slub Henley Shirt

I've read plenty of negative reviews about this shirt and I have to ask myself WTF. The shirt I received is their "Barley" colored Maverick Slub Henley. It's great in every way. All the seams are surged which gives the shirt a great look and feel. The Barley color is a copper brown with fine streaks of white through out. This shirt is proportioned perfectly for me. I'm a XXL. The cloth is a 80/20 cotton polyester blend that's "SEXY SOFT' to the touch. (my wife's words) It's of medium density, That's heavier than a Tee shirt and lighter than a Thermal shirt. The very top button hole is sewn horizontally while all the others are sewn vertically. This lets the collar expand around your neck with movement if you choose to button up all the way. I, and my wife think this shirt is well worth the money. Quality material, manufacturing, fit and feel. A total home run in every way. This is the first time that's ever happened to me and I'm sixty. I'll be buying more in this fabric and style.

Love it, great shirt. Just the right thickness. Not to thick or thin. Very comfortable. I'm 6'1" and 180 lbs. and after trying a few sizes the Large Tall seems to be the best for me even after washing.March 31, 2022 I have two of these Maverick Slub Henley Shirts in Large and one in LT - Large Tall, after wearing all of them multiple times, I have to say I prefer the fit and feel of the Large, even though the LT sleeves are slightly longer, which I like. I just ordered the light blue one. It finally became available in my size. I try to wear 100% cotton but I gave up finding anything comfortable and that looks good. So with 80 : 20 this is the best I could do and it is extremely comfortable and looks great. I like the slub style. Overall sizing is tricky with Legendary Whitetails. Thankfully Amazon has a pretty good returns policy, but make sure you see the words "Free Returns" next to the item's price. Some don't say that and you might have to pay.

The fabric feels soft and comfortable. Ordered a 3XL. It wasn’t very long but it was wide enough. It was worn as a layering piece and was a decent she of grey. The contrast stitching is done well and makes the shirt look more expensive than it is. This shirt does provide the necessary amount of warmth but is not heavy knit. I would suggest hanging up to dry after washing because I didn’t experience any shrinking.

The details: I'm 5'8, weight 175 lbs and am in pretty good shape. I ordered the Medium size of this shirt.It looks exactly as advertised in terms of styling and color. Before washing, I was concerned it was a bit on the big size, but washing it in cold and drying on low took care of that. It's not snug but it's comfortably loose - doesn't look or feel like a tent but it's also not restrictively tight.The fabric is a bit rougher than I expected - not irritating at all, just has a bit more of a texture than I thought it would. And while it doesn't look or feel cheap, it also doesn't scream HIGH QUALITY manufacturing. For the price, I was expecting something a bit more substantial.It's not a bad purchase but I'm thinking an equivalent shirt is likely available on Amazon for cheaper.EDIT: After owning and wearing this shirt for months, I'm MUCH more positive on it than I was initially. It's incredibly comfortable, looks great solo or as a top layer, can be worn in all but the hottest weather, and just feels good. A great shirt for knocking around on the weekend, casual times with friends, or just wanting a comfy and great-looking layer in cooler weather.

Xl fits true to size. Comfy, love the dark blue color and stitching is cool.

I like this so much I ordered another. It fits well and the stitching gives it a slimming look. Also it looks a lot more expensive than it was. Good quality material and the logos are small stylish and well placed.

I searched and searched and read review after review trying to find a good fall shirt and thought I’d found it. However I have not. I’ll be returning this unfortunately because I liked it and other colors by this brand and was hoping to be able to get a couple more.I’m 6’4” and about 210-215lbs with a slightly athletic build, so it’s tricky to find a shirt that is 1) long enough in the sleeves and body 2) doesn’t feel skin tight or 3) doesn’t feel like I’m swimming in it. It’s always been a struggle with any long sleeved shirt with S,M,L,etc sizing unless it comes in Tall in which case LT usually is perfect.So imagine my glee when I found the LT size available in this shirt! And based on reviews here though I thought I found a product that would fit my admittedly narrow parameters and picky taste when it comes to clothes. Unfortunately the LT felt like a tent in the body. The fit in the body of the shirt bordered on XXL territory and extended almost to my fingertips. Who wants to tuck in a Henley?? Not me. The sleeves however fit pretty good. They had just the right amount of room throughout but just barely came to my wrists. So I can’t wash and shrink this one or the sleeves won’t fit. I’m disappointed.

I'm sure I would have liked the items purchased for grandsons' Christmas; however they were stolen before I had a chance to view them. I did place a new order today for same items as I liked them that much. Just lost money because of the theft.

Large fits more like a medium.

Looks good, fits well, great color, a very good buy.
