I had a lot of blonde in my hair that I recently covered with a dark dye, but as expected, the color faded faster from the more porous areas. After about six weeks, the top of my hair (where most of the blonde was) had lightened to a light brown, while the ends stayed a cool espresso shade. I didn’t want to go back to the salon so soon, so I picked up this color depositing mask.I followed the directions, I shampooed in the shower, rinsed thoroughly, wrung my hair out well, and even stepped out of the tub to towel dry it a bit more. Then I put on gloves, applied the mask generously, brushed it through evenly, and left it on for about 15 minutes.It worked pretty well. The top was still slightly lighter, and it didn’t affect my roots much the first time, but I could already see an improvement. Two days later, I applied it again, this time focusing on my roots and the top of my head. I used a different conditioner on the bottom since that part was already dark.After the second use, I was much happier with the results. Everything looked more blended, my roots were better toned, and the previously blonde areas on top were darker, making my overall color more uniform and just prettier ✨💖🥰It also made my hair incredibly soft, shiny, and smooth. I love the formula! It’s perfect for stretching time between salon visits, especially if you’re trying to avoid more damage after bleaching.I’ve already bought another bottle. I think it works really well, but it’s not necessarily a one and done miracle, especially if your hair has multiple tones like mine. Stick with it and give it a couple of uses for the best results.I can’t wait to see how it looks after another use or two. Definitely a lifesaver!

It gave my hair a refreshed, blended look that brought everything together beautifully—no harsh lines, just a soft, natural finish.The application process was super easy, even for someone like me who isn’t a pro. The formula smells amazing (not that strong chemical smell you often get with hair color), and it left my hair feeling incredibly soft and healthy afterward. It didn’t dry it out at all, which was a big plus.I’ll definitely be exploring more from this brand, especially their permanent color options. This product exceeded my expectations and has earned a spot in my haircare routine!

After looking online and in stores for a while for a good color depositing product, I settled on this during Prime Day. I have tried other color glosses/masks before with mixed results. Yes, they deposited color, but it looked like it just coated the hair or sat on top instead of actually refreshing my color. For reference, I dye my hair a level 8 auburn and chose the natural looking "caramel glaze" color instead of the copper or auburn, which looked too orange and too dark for me.I tried this color mask with a little tweaking: After shampooing my hair twice to make sure it was really clean, I squeezed out the water and instead of applying the color mask directly to my hair, I diluted it (1:1 ratio) with my regular conditioner in my palms and mixed it together. This was my first time using it and it does stain my hands a little, so I wasn't sure how strong the color would be, so I chose to dilute it. I applied root to ends for 5-6 minutes while finishing the rest of my shower, then thoroughly rinsed out. Make sure to wash your neck and back afterward or it will leave a film.I wrapped my hair in an old, white tshirt and it left some light staining but not as bad as some other color glosses I've tried. I applied my products and styled my hair as usual. The results are amazing - shiny, vibrant, natural but noticeably better! A coworker complimented my hair today and said it was really shiny and looked like it had natural golden threads/highlights throughout.I will try this full strength in the future, but I'm honestly very happy with the results using the diluted method, plus it will make the tube go twice as far. This will be a weekly routine for me to keep my color shiny and healthy. Highly recommend!

I purchased knowing I have chemical free hair, dirty blonde with natural highlights. I was hoping those highlights may lighten after use. The product didn’t change my color at all but it did give my hair a very nice shine and softness. I’m pleased with those results. I have a shoulder length bob and used the entire tub.

This gives my lowlights a beautiful brown color. It does make your hands brown during application but it does wash away pretty quickly while you scrub in the shower. I deem this product as good quality and has a good value. It doesn’t dry my hair out. I would continue to buy this product for continual upkeep.

Cool Espresso: please note that if you have thick hair, you may use up the tube in one use. I am a brunette with highlighted hair and always struggle to get rid of the warm tones. Cool Espresso is TRULY cool toned - it has blue undertones. I used it on clean wet hair and left it on for maybe 5 minutes and it works QUICKLY. I will say that it came out a little uneven because I was struggling to get the product through my thick hair, but it turned out fine. Just make sure that you put it all over your hair quickly so some parts don’t come out darker than others. WARNING: you should wear gloves and if you have super light highlighted hair it’s going to have a blue tinge to it. Overall I am impressed with the performance of this product.
