really reliable!
I recently tried Seaguar Tatsu 100% Fluorocarbon Fishing Line, and I was eager to see if it lived up to the reputation it has in the fishing community. Here’s my honest review based on my experience.Performance:The performance of the Seaguar Tatsu line was impressive. It provided excellent sensitivity, allowing me to feel even the slightest bites. During a recent fishing trip, I was able to detect subtle nibbles that I would have otherwise missed with standard monofilament lines.Quality:The quality of the Tatsu line is outstanding. It is constructed from 100% fluorocarbon, which makes it incredibly durable and resistant to abrasions. After several outings, the line showed no signs of fraying or wear, even when fishing in rocky areas.Value for Money:Priced at a premium compared to some other fishing lines, I believe Seaguar Tatsu offers great value for serious anglers. Its performance and durability justify the price, especially for those who prioritize quality gear. For example, I noticed an increase in my catch rate after switching to this line.Pros:- Low visibility: The line is virtually invisible underwater, making it less detectable to fish.- High sensitivity: Excellent feel for bites, which enhances the fishing experience.- Strong and durable: Great resistance to abrasions and breakage, perfect for challenging conditions.Cons:- Price: It is more expensive than other fishing lines, which might deter casual anglers.- Stiffness: The line can be a bit stiff, making it slightly challenging to manage on initial use.Overall, I would highly recommend Seaguar Tatsu 100% Fluorocarbon Fishing Line to anyone serious about fishing. Its performance, durability, and sensitivity make it a top choice for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. If you're looking to improve your fishing game, this line is definitely worth considering.

Really disappointed as a long time Invizx user. Stretchy as Mono and snaps too easily.
No pictures, and not going to make this long as I'm extremely disappointed and more than a little annoyed. I've been upgrading my gear this year. I'm 50 and I've definitely learned if it is worth doing, it is worth doing with the best tools you can afford. I've fished Invizx for a very long time. I've seldom had any issues. If I have I can trace it back to something I've done wrong in putting it on a spinning reel.I bought 8lb for my BFS setup and 15lb to re-spool my standard MH setup. I've yet to fish the 15lb too much, but I went right out with the 8lb. I found a great little pond, I pulled a 3lb and a 2.6lb in under an hour. I tried to put a 1/8oz tungsten weight on a 1/0 hook on a mini craw to see if I could pick anything else up down deeper in the moss. I got hit hard set the hook fish tugged twice and pop. This wasn't timber and brush, this was grasses and moss. Fish couldn't have been all that big, no 10 pounders in this under 50 yard pond. The next day I went out to prove this was a fluke. Then I had more and more issues. I the line would wrap around the end of the rod. I had to break it off due to a hang up and it snapped back like a rubber band and wrapped all over everything. Low memory? After one day you'd think I was fishing a spinning reel and the line had been on there for 3 years in an Arizona garage. This was on an Shimano Aldebaran BFS reel. Taking it off, because of the expense, I decided to try and save some of it, so I had a Berkley XL 10 pound spool almost empty so I matched them up. Now, I know it is 2 pounds lighter, but it was even more stretchy. Also, the line seemed to have dug in on itself like braid and was very rough coming off. It did remind me even more of the Berkley line that was only for spinning reels as it could dig in like this. Interestingly, when it came time to take it off the reel I mimiced what the fish did of pull and then pop it and yup, snapped instantly and just as cleanly as it had with the fish.I have to say I've read a lot of other reviews and I found one from another BFS fisherman using the same reel, same weight, and had the exact same issues. Maybe it is better for leader only or spinning reels, but definitely not something I trust for BFS fishing. Why did this happen? I have no idea. It has been extremely hot and who knows how old the packaging was as I read one review where they had gotten a larger bulk spool and reported the first use of it was fantastic, but as it aged it seemd to get snappy like this, so I don't know, all I know is it was a huge waste of funds for 72 hours of very frustrating fishing.I hate to say this about a Seaguar product, but this is a huge avoid for me.

Excellent
I am (or was) a professional fishing guide and as you probably know, clients want the best. I have tried all kinds of line for our trout angler clients and some worked ok, some were just poor. I decided a couple years ago to try Tatsu. It is SUPER supple, it casts like butter, it is still sensitive enough to detect the smallest strikes, and it is very close to invisible in the water. It is expensive but it does make a difference. I have several rigged rods/reels in the boat at all times and generally keep 2 that are identical. One has a different brand line on it, the other with Tatsu. Over the last couple years of keeping track, the one with Tatsu generally gets more "bites" than the other one, and this is using the same exact lure. Generally casts further with Tatsu. I will say this, over a longer period of time the Tatsu will develop some memory--but using a good line conditioner will help restore it's suppleness. This stuff is SO good that I've actually had people comment on how easy it is to cast, retrieve, and feel the small bite (brown trout often just inhale the lure and you might feel a little "tick" and that's about it).
