Perfect replacement for old noisy fan on Goodman Heat Pump
Other reviews stated damaged boxes. Everything looked pristine! Well packaged and delivered with no issues. Quick install. One note, on replacing older fans, be careful to have some spare mounting nuts on hand. The old ones get rusty and snap off... Ouch. Required another trip to the hardware store.

Perfect Replacement (Goodman)
I swapped out my old condenser fan motor which had begun making a terrible noise (probably bearings) for this one. My old one was listed as 0131M00007P, 1/4 HP, 1 SP, 6 PL (YDK-180S62523-02). This one was a one for one swap and I had absolutely no issues with the installation. This one has 3 wires just like the old one and they plug into the old connectors. Packaging was great, no broken parts, quiet operation.

Works!
Installed on my Goodman gph1543m1AB heat pump and everything seems to be working well. The other reviews are pretty accurate. The box was all ripped up, but the motor itself is working great. The wires are slightly smaller diameter than the originals. Great replacement. I had a repairman come check out the original problem and he wanted to charge me $1100 for a new motor (Plus $80 service fee). Instead I bought this one and a new capacitor all for under $100 bucks.

Product is not good
It burned out the first week of use of our central ac unit

Would have cost over $600 to have it done by an HVAC guy
Old motor started intermittently squeaking and noticed when the unit cycled off, the fan almost stopped immediately so it was time to replace after 19 years. Don't forget to replace the run capacitor when doing this job!

Not so universal....
Been trying to get the AC issue figured out for a week. 90-100 F the whole time. Finally determined it was the motor. This item had prime next day shipping. Sweet I thought. Till the next day. Like others posted, the packaging was pretty bad. The inner box (what was shipped to an Amazon warehouse) was torn up at the bottom (where the bolts are) and over all was banged up.Tested the motor and it was good. Attached my existing fan blade to it and thought "This is it, my first world problem will finally be over!". But this universal motor had other ideas... The bolt pattern did not line up (See pic). Had to muster every ounce of creativity to come up with this. The fix: 2x threaded rods (1ft w/ 8/32 thread), bag of 8/32 hex nuts (#22 count), bag of thick fender washers (3/16 x 1 1/4) and some locktite. Got it attached to the metal fan grate. Not ideal, but it works.Verdict: Get this if you need something cheap and fast. MAKE SURE it matches all specs AND bolt pattern!
