Used it every day for 2 1/2 months and only charged it once. Excellent razor
I have had this razor for 2 1/2 months now and used it every day. The first charge lasted 6 weeks of daily use and I have yet to charge it a second time.I switched from a rotary razor and I find this foil razor a lot closer and easier on the skin. The razor is quite hefty, it must be the size of the battery, however it still easily fits in my wash bag and has a sturdy feel to it.Very easy to dismantle and clear out.I believe in using something first for a while before providing a review, making the review far more helpful. I have been delighted with this razor and would certainly recommend it. Great value for money

Impressed!.
For £28 this is a very good electric shaver.Less than half the price of my Braun series 3 and just as good, if not better!.Shaves quite close and quickly.I have taken it on a 7 day holiday and the charge lasted all 7 days and still had 1 bar left.It also recharges quickly. It seems solidly built, and I don't see why it shouldn't last me a good few years.Only gave it 4 stars as it does not have a side trimmer, but that is my fault for assuming and not reading the description properly.. Not a problem though as I have a set of Wahl trimmers anyway.

A razor that works well for me
I have been using this Wahl razor for 6 months. It is the third Wahl razor I have owned and by far the best. It is probably the best razor I have ever owned. It is quiet and easy to handle, giving a very smooth shave. The trimmer is built-in as a middle set of blades that are always working and not pop up, as I have been used to, but this works perfectly well as a trimmer. On full charge the battery lasts long enough for me to have forgotten when I last charged it. It is good value for a quality razor. I have never tried one of the expensive big names, that cost three times the price, but I can't believe that they can do much better.

Game changer
I haven’t used an electric shaver for years because I never really got on with them. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and it is great. After a few missed patches, I have now perfected the technique. This combined with Freelette shave lotion now gives me a closer shave than I was getting with a premium wet razor and shave foam. I used it daily for two weeks and the charge had still not run out. It did start to make a lot of noise buy I oiled it and that sorted that out. Also gentlemen, I also tested it on a more intimate area 🙈. Did a lovely job so I may buy a second for that!Has a nice little bag for travelling that also fits in my bottle of lotion.Oh, and it was cheap but doesn’t feel itGame changer

Great battery, but lack lustre shaving performance
Summary:Quicker, closer and maybe cheaper to use a disposable wet razor and shaving foam.In Detail:After 20yrs of using disposable razors for a wet shave, a lack of hot water over Christmas created the need for a plan B : a razor that could be used dry in the event the hot water loss again. So I figured I'd treat myself to this Wahl to have as a backup, and also a luxury for those cold lazy days when I just want to get dressed straight out of bed.On arrival, charging it was fast. The battery capacity and charging time is impressive. I'll give it that for sure. But let's get straight to the point ... you aren't buying a battery, you're buying a razor for the purpose of shaving. It's the shave that counts. And the shave ain't all that good. True, I can't compare it to other present day electric razors, but it doesn't feel any better than the previous electric shavers I used 20years ago.The only advantage I can really say that this shaver has over disposable blades, is less risk of cutting yourself while shaving, and to be fair, if you spend the time to shave properly, it's a pretty uniform neat result on the whole, and does less damage to the skin. But you do have to work it around to get it to shave anywhere near close. And even then, it definitely isn't as close as a wet shave with a disposable razor. After I've shaved in the morning, by the time I'm going to bed in the evening the stubble is already feeling rough and leaving me wondering if I'll shred the bedding. Never had that issue with the disposable blades.I also feel it takes longer to feel 'done' when shaving with this compared to disposables. With disposables and a wet shave, it feels more definitive when you're done. With this electric shaver it feels like there's still more to be had carrying on longer. So by the time you feel you're done, it's taken longer than a wet shave. Then cost - I work on the basis that I can usually get 3-blade disposables for 50p each (when on offer, buy in bulk) and they last about a month each. Shaving foam is also cheap and a single can seems to last an eternity. I'll admit, I'm not sure how much filling a sink with hot water costs. But excluding the water, I'd reckon wet shaving costs around £10 to £13 per year in material costs. This electric shaver cost me £32. If it lasts 3yrs as per guarantee, then that's not so bad. But it looks like I got it on offer, and £50+ is more normal. The question then is how long do the blades remain sharp and effective, as well as how long will the motor last, and so on.My previous electric shavers back 20yrs ago, I didn't feel lasted that long before their shaving performance noticeably deteriorated. And to be honest, the blade technology in this Wahl unit still feels just like I remember from back then. So I don't feel there has been any technological advancement since then that gives me any confidence this electric shaver will last any longer. So cost, may or may not be cheaper. But I definitely feel it takes longer to 'finish' shaving with this compared to disposable razors. And it definitely isn't as close either. But on the plus side, it doesn't require hot water, and you can shave with this after you're dressed. So for now I seem to be using both methods... a couple of days of using this electric shaver between other days reverting back to disposable razor shaves. This seems to be better on the skin than disposable razors every day, but nice to have the closer disposable razor shave occasionally which is also quicker if you're in a hurry to get out for work or whatever. But it's shave performance certainly hasn't convinced me to ditch the disposable razors. But nice to have a plan B just in case.
