These risers are very nice quality and nicely made. I had intended on getting a different color, but I waited too long and had to get the black. It does what it is intended to do. I needed to raise up our old desk so that I can repurpose it for my sewing. I needed it a little higher for cutting.

Hold up bed nice to put bins under

I have had these risers under my metal bedframe for about four years now and they are still as solid as the day we got them. The height is perfect for my slightly low frame so that I can actually store things under the bed. I love the black color as well, since it blends into the shadows under the bed and doesn't stick out. Similarly, since they are wood instead of metal, if I stub my toe on one, it hurts slightly less than if it was metal. I would happily order again if my current ones give out someday.

Blocks were true to size and perfect for my application. However, only arrived with 3 felt inserts rather than 4.

These were described, love it!

All wood, the top rout is .5" deep, w/ the rout inside at 2-5/8" wide across (2-5/8" inside square). The extra width on the bottom block is added protection against tipping if you were to place the leg into a corner. I used these on wood storage benches with 1-1/2" square legs, and placed each leg in the corner, so most of the riser would be under the bench to prevent them from sticking out (no stubbing of toes).The only caveat to using these on legs that are 90-degree square at 2-1/2" to 2-5/8" is that the corners are rounded, not 90-degree, which means will probably need to rout out the corners to fit a 90 degree angle.

I needed my bed frame an inch higher so my robot vacuum/mop could go under it. I’m thrilled with these. They are solid wood. I didn’t want the plastic ones. They arrived with 8 felt pad to put between the riser and my bed frame. So I have 4 extra pads. I did put any pads on the floor, this riser is smooth on the bottom and nicely finished. It’s also more than large enough to easily support my frame. I am very pleased with this purchase.

These risers are covered in oil. At first I thought the oil on the box came from something else. Fortunately, I caught that the oil was on the risers before I fully installed them under my couch. I can't put those on my floor or on my rug! Don't need oil stains on a floor in an apartment. Who knows what damage I would have had to pay for by the time I moved out! And oil stains on my area rug, no thanks. Unfortunately, because of moving and other tasks having higher priority, it took me a little while to get around to using them so I am past the return date. Sadly and frustratingly, off to the garbage they go. And I really needed them. Looked like they were going to be perfect for the job and much more attractive than the 2x4 pieces I had been using. And in agreement with another review, these are definitely NOT walnut.
