Beautiful and functional
Bought this to continue the green color scheme I have going on in my kitchen, including the matching Le Creuset spoon rest. It's sturdy and an attractive piece to leave on my counter. Works exactly as advertised. I will be happy to keep this as a permanent piece in my kitchen for years to come.

Wildly overpriced oversized butter dish
It’s Le Creuset. It’s heavy. It’s pretty. And it’s expensive. I wanted a butter dish that could hold 2 sticks or a brick for my Irish butter and this did that. Green color, it’s actual name I can’t recall, it a very pretty dark 1990’s ivy green which is exactly what I was hoping for. Only drawback, is that a butter knife will not sit on the side of the dish without moving the lid back a bit. Not a huge deal but there it is.
