Some pieces are small, a couple are long. They go great in my 30 gallon fish tank! My snails/frogs love the drift wood!

Q: Would these be okay for my pleco?

Yes. These wood pieces are very beautiful multicolored wood. Plecos actually eat some wood as part of their diet. So not only beautiful, also beneficial.

Q: Would putting these in a pressure cooker would allow me to speed the leeching process? Is the suggested 7 day soak to waterlog the pieces?

I haven't tried the pressure cooker method. For small pieces of driftwood like these, it does not take very long to leach out the tannins. I soaked mine in hot tap water for 3 days with new water changes every few hours then place them in the aquarium with new carbon filter to help clear up the remaining tannins.

Q: Do i need to soak them for a reptile tank?

Yes I soaked it thoroughly then let it dry on a paper towel before putting it in the tank.
