Would these trains fit on the fold out take along Malissa and Doug track?

Hi K! These Train Cars are the same size as our Take-Along Train Set...all aboard for fun!

Do the backs have pictures or are they just plain white?

They aren't flat - each entire piece is complete all the way around. For example, the engine is a complete engine, with paint and detail on every surface. Hope I answered your question. (My grandson loves them by the way).

Why are there not nine trains?

More than annoying. My 2 year old son would point to the empty space and say, "mommy one missing" he would then look all over the house disappointed and sad he could never find it. Had to store them in something else. I dont believe wrapping is the issue. M&D is cutting corners and trying to make 300%+ profit from loyal customers.
