I have a hard time in my minimalist bags, this one a dream - and avoid cruelty down
Comfort - comfort- comfortAll of the features are choice. The foot opening lets me place my feet flat and bend knee without them slipping down. Can crawl into fetal position in the egg shaped space. The overlapping quilt part works. Just a dream. I am not compatible with the constraint of a minamalist bag.I should add I haven't been outdoors in it yet, just tried it out at home, now find myself pulling it out again and again to nap away. My trip only weeks away.Bulky though for minamalist setup. I am making do with a compression sack purchase. It's a chore to stuff it but need it so that it can fit in my bike luggage. One more plug to dump the down. Don't buy cruelty. Anyone who buys down is just trash. No need whatsoever. Just deal with a little more weight and bulk and a little less 'luxury'. I would love to take out how I feel about all those innocent geese and ducks on someone to teach them how they should value luxury. Many reviews note the sleeve is for 20 inch pad. They Klymit Static V is listed at 23 inch, and fills the sleeve but seems will work without stretching it.

Love this Bag!
Not going to lie, this bag is a pain in the butt because it adds so much bulk to my backpack, but so worth it because it's very comfortable, holds my sleeping pad in place, and because of the zipperless option, I can tuck in tight when it's cold or leave it partly open when it gets warmer off and on during the night like a blanket, without having to mess with zippers and wake up. However, if you want the pad to stay in place, then you need to use the Gap in the bottom where you're supposed to be able to get your feet out, so I think that feature is a bit misleading

Pad sleeve is excellent!!
If you’re having trouble getting your pad into the sleeve you might try inserting it before you air it up. I have a Thermarest large long trail pro and it fits nicely!!This is the best bag I’ve ever owned!! Never been more comfortable.

Pad sleeve disappointment
Pad sleeve does NOT accommodate a 25” pad!
