This book was totally unsuitable for my daughter who is a complete beginner. It was far too complicated and had to be returned. Extremely disappointed.

The book is definitely not for beginners. Print quality bad, instruction terrible a this should have been come with a YouTube video. Extremely poor product. Deceptive reviews made me buy this.

I thought the music notes would be in colour to match the keys. Music was written as it would be for adults with the respective key (c,d, e, etc) in tiny font inside each music note. Bit difficult for younger children to follow.

My daughter is 7 and found the book a little hard to understand. I think she will eventually get it but it does feel a little "in at the deep end" from the off.

Great for my 6 year old who is keen to learn the keyboard. Starts with the very basics and simple enough for him to work through on his own.
