These filters are good & I'm so happy replacements are available for my GoZero water bottle! I'm a picky water person & some water tastes funny, epecially when there's chlorine in water. I take the Philips Go Zero bottle with me on trips & fill it up at the ariport water dispenser (after security) & have water that tastes good instead of over paying for water in a plastic bottle that will be discarded. I've filled up my bottle in national parks, museums, airports and restaurants all over-- in- and out- of the US. The filters are easy to change & don't need changing as often as you might guess. I'm on my 3rd one in 57 days of travel over the last year.Just a note: This does not filter out bacteria from river water to make it safe to drink. That's a different product. This is like the filter that comes with the water pitchers filled at the tap and put in the refigerator.*If for nothing else, buy the water bottle and replacement filters instead of using plastic water bottles.

I really like my bottles and the concept with the filtration. I have NEVER come close to the 2 month duration. I am a daily water drinker. I'm not a 1 gallon a day girl.That being said it's was easy to install the filter, I'm assuming it filters as it should, but I get no where near the 2 month mark.In about 2- 3 weeks I notice it gets a bit harder to pull from the bottle it goes down hill quickly from there. It took me a bit to figure out it was the filter life span causing the problem.Theres no way it would last the 2 months.I think since the filtration system doesn't last as long they need to reduce the cost of the filters or work on extended duration. The value just isn't there when it's not lasting but 2-3 weeks. I will say ideally it needs changed every 2 weeks.I have city water with a water softener. I have even filtered through a brit and then use that water for my bottle. Still didn't notice it extending the filters lifespan at all.
