How sharp is the blade? Is it dull or razor sharp? I don't want to spend $96 just to end up with a dull blade. Thanks.

It was sharp. Used the hell out of it. Wouldnt qualify as razor sharp due to thickness of blade. Overall worth the money

Does the saw part work well?

Yes, it is not as fast as an actual saw. But it does get the job done. The saw isn't sharp so you don't have to worry about shredding your hand or the sheath.
