I was looking for some cheaper, but not too cheap paring knives. They have the smaller no brand paring knives in the grocery store, but I wanted something a step above that and saw these on Amazon. I know Victorinox makes some decent knives as I have a couple of their Swiss Army knives which are good quality. So I picked up a 4 pack and they arrived quite sharp and were the right size for what I wanted. They hold an edge for a while, but are easy to touch up with hone. No rust and they work great for tasks requiring a paring knife. I have other paring knives, but they are quite a bit more expensive than these are, so for tasks I would be hesitant to use a more expensive paring knife, I use these instead. Good quality for an economical price.

This little knives are really great for fruits and veggies. Not so good for cutting meat. There are the smaller blade ones on here that are excellent for meat cutting.

GREAT paring knives, exactly what I need for small cuts, potato eyes, etc. Just purchased my second set, NOT because the first set fell apart, but because they all disappeared! My adult kids each got one when they moved out; I took one to work; etc. So useful for so many tasks. I don’t run mine through the dishwasher, BTW. I hate washing dishes but the good cookware always requires it. Worth the effort, I suppose…..
