Lazy eye treatment tips
This is a useful guide for anyone suffering from lazy eye syndrome. I like how the book explained the options of treatment especially the non surgical ones as well as helping you diagnose the problem. The exercies were very detailed and easy to follow for anyone who wants a self help solution to the problem..

Not helpful, not accurate
This ebook is very basic and has multiple inaccuracies. I recently underwent strabismus surgery and was looking for more ideas for vision exercises, but this offered nothing useful. The only thing really suggested was patching, and all of the other exercises are while the eye is patched. Patching alone while going about regular activities will have the same effect, so the activities are pointless. Also, the causes given for amblyopia don't make sense. One cause listed is strabismus, while another is refractive error, but these disorders are all related - one does not necessarily cause the other. Rather, they are all part of the same problem. It does not define these terms or explain them. Strabismus (misaligned eyes) can cause amblyopia, but treating the amblyopia will not cure the strabismus, so the eyes will still be crooked. If you want to understand the complicated topic of strabismus, read Fixing My Gaze by Susan Barry. I have yet to find a good vision therapy instruction book, and formal therapy costs thousands of dollars and isn't usually covered by insurance. I would hate to think that this writer is trying to capitalize on that.

It's nice to have the info all in one place but ...
All of this info can be found online for free with less than an hour of research. It's nice to have the info all in one place but there isn't anything in here that you can't find through a couple pages of a google search

Worth the information
It's a very short document. But I found it quite informative. I really appreciate the exercise tips. Think of this as a bird's-eye view of what you're getting into. They are more like Cliff Notes version of what to expect. My toddler has amblyopia and strabismus in both eyes. There's nothing I will not do to help her. This book doesn't cost very much, and I personally believe that each parent with children with amblyopia and/or strabismus should consider reading it. You literally will be done within half an hour and the information will guide you throughout the years toward healing your child's sight. For adults, I do believe that it will help you as well. It's just some of the statements are a little bit more discouraging, but I think the tone is more in the intention to help you keep your hopes up. But it backfires. There is new research that swats away a lot of what this person is saying. For you I would suggest leaning toward the latest research. There are new findings that are actually completely reversing and repairing these issues in adults. So if you feel very sensitive or hurt by all the that is said toward adults with strabismus and or amblyopia, this could come off as a bit negative here and there for you. It's important that we all remain positive, and being realistic doesn't mean we don't hone in on our bodies' abilities to heal. There are many people in this world for instance, that have healed themselves from cancer through unconventional means. Don't give up.. you may have to take some unconventional route. So please don't give up and don't let anyone ever tell you no. I would say it might help to look only at the chapter with the exercises list. But you probably can find these suggestions on a Google search as well. Plus, I can understand the frustrations of some of the people who have done a review here. I still feel it's worth it for $2.99.Good luck to everyone! I am going to make sure my daughter sees well and sees in 3D, and then concern myself if her eyes will straighten. Vision First. Stay positive, don't give up and there are so many amazing Technologies happening right now! "We got this!"🥰

I think I have a lazy eye. I have ...
I think I have a lazy eye. I have the symptoms but not really. However, I find this book very helpful. I can use the exercise found here to treat my pseudo-lazy eye. It is interesting to read a book on this topic.

Good info:)
Recently I have been studying different eye conditions and treatments and so I picked up this book as a part of my research. Short and sweet, to the point. It focuses on the practical part which are eye excercises. I think it can help some people.
