Obviously It's a Light Novel
The only negative reviews so far are from people who're confused about why this isn't a manga. It was never advertised as such. Anyone who is slightly knowledgeable about the series knows that it was original a novel, and is it's superior form. Sure, the manga is fine, but why would you want that over this fantastic light novel? Just because you're ignorant doesn't mean it's Amazon's fault. And sending back the perfect, original version of the story because it isn't the manga is laughable.Anyone with sense, buy this. It's a classic for a reason.

Overrated
Book itself was in good condition but the story... meh. I only bought it because I'd heard of many great things about it but after reading it myself I can't believe anyone would rate this any higher than 2 or 3 stars.It's written like some juvenile's Gary Stu OC fantasy. 'Beautiful' and other synonymous words are repeated EVERY OTHER PAGE describing the same characters. The world building is thrown at you in huge exposition dumps to the point you can't tell if you're reading a story or some kind of fictional encyclopedia.The premise is intriguing but it ultimately falls flat in my opinion.
