It saves space by interlocking, therefore, it's perfect in my campervan. It stands up to the temperatures of trays straight out of the oven. I only have a small oven in my campervan, but the worktops are all wooden, therefore, I want to make sure I do not ruin them with hot items.For things like saucepans, I separate them, giving me 2 pot stands, but when I use them for oven trays, I tend to use them as a single piece. I already have the blue & white one in my kitchen at home, so it made sense to get one for on the road.

Great quality from Joseph Joseph as always. The price was good through Amazon and arrived quickly. Easy to store as both mats clip together. Look pleasing to the eye compared to other silicone mats. Colour is very on trend. Wipes clean easily from spills. Can put pans on straight from stove without any damage. Look good when serving on dining table. Can use together for a thicker mat for a heavy pan or split into 2 mats. Can be used on an Aga top to protect from pans scratching enamel or stainless steel.

Hits the spot. I use them for a hot dinner plate on my lap tray, and occasionally a pot off the Hob. Quite cool that they lock together, easy clean
