Real ACDelco coil at a good price
I don't know how to tell a great coil from one that just "does the job" without cutting it open - and I am not cutting a new coil open just to have a peek. So, I am relying on two things when I give this coil a 5 star review. First off, for the same price as my local parts store wants for a no-name coil, I bought a real ACDelco coil and ACDelco has a good reputation. Secondly, I bought one of those no-name coils (because I needed one in a hurry) and weighted the two and the ACDelco was 1/4 pound heavier. Does that matter? I'm not sure but it is a clue that this coil might be better built.

Original AC Delco part
Carefully inspected this part upon arrival and determined it was Identical to the part already on my 1962 Corvette. Installed easily, correct color, and correct height to fit under the ignition shield (unlike some other aftermarket parts). Used a multi meter and tested the primary and secondary resistance. They all checked out correctly for my points driven ignition. This is the correct AC Delco professional part for a good price.
