This pouch is nicely made. One problem is that it is not lines so that tobacco dries out quickly.

The headline says most of it, but let me list it off here. There are some "Similarities", but that's all.First, The outside is a leather and the inside is a difference material. However the picture show's a nicely thin edged stitch over a nice dark green felt. In reality, it's a very rough canvas baby shit green color with a very wide edge stitch.Second, It shows a very thin leather string that come from inside the flap to wrap around it 2 times. In reality, its a very bulky, 4 times the width of the picture piece of "leather" with the edge folded in and glued to itself, so its double the width of the pictured string. It is knotted and pushed through from the outside in, (so the opposite of the picture) and doesn't go thru a very discrete hole, but instead there is a rivet!Lastly, It shows items inside it. These items it showed included tobacco pouches. This was my reason for purchasing this product, I needed a new pouch for my pipe tobacco and supplies. Well, the smallest tobacco I can get is a 1.5 oz, and I can tell you with absolute certainty, it does NOT fit. The picture shows a bag of tobacco, a tin , lighter, rolling papers, filters. I can't even get the bag of tobacco inside, let alone additional items!TLDR: No clue how this got 4 stars without paying for good reviews. DON'T PURCHASE!

It's a decent size pouch, but it smells pretty bad. Also, it has a zippered pocket for accessories on the inside, so you cannot top up the pouch without it filling the pocket. It should have been placed on the outside, which would still be covered by the flap. Also, the metal ring through which the leather strap is fed, was mishapen. In addition, the strap itself seems to be leather folded and glued and the end is peeling.

For the price, I'd say this is amazing stuff. It matches a bag made using the same material and process that I bought a few days earlier. Yes, stitching not perfect. But it is all leather, lined with canvas. This little satchel will last for years and improve with age. And if the stitching comes undone after intensive use? I'll have it re-sewn, and it will still be a bargain when compared to items selling for much more that it can be compared to.

Love this pouch! First let me tell you *this does “smell” fresh out of the package. It’s REAL LEATHER, and was tanned via natural process (it just needs to be aired out so the “gasses” can escape). Secondly, it’s a great size for my husbeast’s tobacco pipe, matches, and a tin of his favorite blend.Third- I bought 2 more for gifts after seeing the first one.
