Mine looks a little different from this one with 2 lightning ports and 2 headphone jacks but no, mine doesn’t work. The lightning charging port works but the audio jack doesn’t.

The old iPad Pro has a lightning port which is the one the description refers to, only the new iPad Pro uses usb c

I use it to play music on my I-phone through my car audio system. But it is poor quality and causes scratching as and interference in the sound. I quit using it and threw it away.

Q: Will this work with an iPad Pro 12.9”?

I do not have that size 12.9 but the connections are the same and I do not see why not. As I'm concern it should works with all apple products.
