What on Earth does " knock rubber particles" mean? What is that bizarre drawing supposed to represent?

I believe they are talking about drywall anchors hehe we tossed that stuff and just used drywall screws.

Mount to back of door without screws showing?

Looking at mine I cannot see the screw heads now that it is loaded with stuff.

How hard is it to get things on and off? Is it arthritis friendly?

It is quite easy to get things on and off. I don't think it will be a problem.

Will this mount on aHollow core door?

Using a wing nut/toggle bolt should be OK since there is not much stress on the holder when putting things on and taking them off. Hope it works for you, it sure does the trick for us. Ours is anchored with the included anchors in a hollow wall (the studs were not in the right place for just the screws) and it is fine.
