I use this little heater to heat up tea and even soup. It is quite handy and it has lasted me a very long time and is still functioning.

Works well but obviously you have to turn it off and unplug . It's not automatic and this not that safe but ok for this kind of a heater . It's not a teakettle...The plug is for US use, not Europe but works in Europe if you have the EU converter.I like that it's so compact and useful when I travel. Many hotels quit putting coffee makers or teakettles in the room!I've used it a few times and I'll update this review if it quits working soon

The product looks sturdy enough. I did not check if it was UL-listed. I returned because it took 12 minutes for even some steam to rise. I cannot wait that long for a cup of tea. :)
