I'm really impressed with this wheel. I used it for the first time today & it doesn't even look like i did; very durable. I'm glad I purchased it.

The wheel did a good job grinding the bark on a log section. After less than 5 minutes use I tried to adjust the safety shield to a new position and was almost burned by the heat of the shield.The wires are the correct length when they are twistedand new;however, as the are used and straighten they lenghten and rub on the grinders safety shield and the friction between the wires and the shield cause the shield to get red not.Not only is the heat a problem but when the wires straighten out the diameter of the wheel increases and makes it difficult, if not impossible , to remount the wheel on the grinder.A poor and dangerous design.

Does a great job in giving surface a good scrub. I used it to peel off layers of real old paint.Since wheel is large, its difficult to maneuver into corners.Should ideally come with a pin to connect into the drill set. That's a shame.

Well made

Might be just me, but this didn't have the correct thread to fit on any of my regular 4 1/2" grinders. Winds onto my 9" but just not practical. Normal thread is M14.

Arrived damaged. Crack in thread column. Not putting this anywhere near 12500rpm.
