Q: Why are so many reviews saying these are knock offs?

I think you have to watch who the actual seller is. Check out their reviews. I’m pretty sure there are some GOOD sellers selling real Yankee and dime others who sell dupes. That’s Amazon for you

Q: What is the difference between the sparkling cinnamon candle and the cinnamon candle?

The Sparkling Cinnamon and the Cinnamon Stick are different, although they both contain the same basic Fragrance Notes: Top: Cinnamon Stick Mid: Clove, Cardamom Base: Bay Leaf, Cedarwood. According to the Yankee website, "they are the same notes but different amounts in each... Cinnamon Stick is a lighter intensity but has a more natural cinnamon scent, Sparkling Cinnamon has a stronger intensity but has a more candy like cinnamon scent ( like the red hots)." Q: When the candle is burning, is it potent enough to fill the room, and when it's extinguished does the smell linger?

An antual, true Yankee Candle, large jar, will fill a huge space. One of those will fill my entire first floor, about 1100 square feet. If it only fills up a small part of your place then it's either a knockoff or a fairly small candle. I've been using Yankee Candles for just about 20 years, they are potent, smell great, and last a long time. But not usually cheap. Worth the money if you are into scented candles and/or want a great smelling part of your home.
