Can you use mono line on this or braided only..?

Haven't spooled line yet, but should be able to use any appropriate sized line. I prefer braided as it doesn't kink as easily and lasts a long time.

Is this stradic made in japan or another country?

The Stradic FL family is made in Malaysia. Actually, all parts are made in Japan and it is only assembled in Malaysia.
