Review for Crayola Fine Line MarkersCrayola Fine Line Markers are absolutely fantastic! They’ve quickly become a favorite in our household for everything from school projects to adult coloring books. The fine tips allow for incredible precision, making them perfect for detailed work like outlines, intricate designs, or handwriting. The color selection is vibrant and varied, and the markers lay down smooth, even lines without any streaking. They also don’t bleed through most papers, which is a huge plus for me. I’ve been impressed by how long they last, even with frequent use.Another thing I appreciate is how easy they are to grip, even for smaller hands, making them great for kids and adults alike. If you’re looking for high-quality markers that are versatile and dependable, Crayola Fine Line Markers are a must-have!

This Crayola Adult marker set it THE set to get with great color selection and performance.
Hi All.The Crayola 40-piece fine line markers are a very nice set of markers indeed. First, I want to say that I've purchased other water-based ink markers, and I've NEVER used a juicier set. Not 1 of the markers was dry, or even going dry. Now, you need to know that I have never really liked water-based ink markers, but this set was so incredibly easy to use, and it layed color down beautifully. I have become a water-based ink marker lover.I have included a page so you can see how nice the colors look. You should notice, that the streaks are very minimal. Granted that the spaces in this page aren't super big, but even the spaces on the hearts are big enough that if you aren't familiar with water-based ink markers, you could get some streaks that look quite bad.The color selection in this set is great. Now, 40 markers may not seem like a big set, but the shades that are included are the ones that tend to be used more. I like this fact. I always feel like I'm "wasting" my money by not using certain colors. I'm not worried about that at all with this set. It contains 2-grays, 4-browns, 5-pinks, 5-greens, 2-teal, 6 blues, 3-purples, 2-yellows, 5-oranges, and 2-reds. It also has 1-wine, 1-gold-ish, 1-black, and a shade they call "Sandy Tan" that might qualify as a flesh tone. I know that the regular, yellow box set does not include the "Sandy Tan". That is one of the big reasons I chose the Adult Coloring Fine Line set.I really like the tip shape and size. There are other markers that have a "standard" bullet shaped tip, but this one is smaller. It was easy to get into the small areas, which is a necessity for me. My favorite designs to color are the smaller spaced style, and even the "tangled" style. So, if you like the Crayola brand, and are wanting a good set of water-based ink markers, with a very good color selection, I suggest that you purchase this set.Let me know whether you found this review helpful or not.Thanx, MindyThey blend well. I did some simple shading on this page. You should be able to see that I used a base color, and then added a darker shade around the edges and across the center line. The darker shade blended into the lighter shade and made the little fronds look dimensional. This is an easy techique, but it does not always look good with water-based ink markers. These Crayola Fine Line markers were definitely up to this challenge. So, if you like to use water-based ink markers, this set is a very good choice. It is also a less expensive set. I do believe that it has the better color selection, if you are comparing

Great markers!
I really liked these markers! They are great for thin areas on coloring pages. Bigger areas are a little difficult to color with these though. If you overlap the coloring, then it will bleed through the paper. However, if you only go over the page once, you shouldn’t have any bleeding problems. You also get a lot of different colors, some match the color of the lid, others not so much. I would recommend doing a color name sheet, so that you can see what color each marker will really give you!I use these for my Disney mystery color by number books and it works great!

Very Fine tips
I am not an artist by any means and I still have trouble staying in the lines when coloring because I'm going too fast. These really made me have to slow down to color because the tips are almost TOO fine to normal scribble color with. They would be great for detail work, except they bleed and puddle BAD. I find myself literally using a stippling coloring method to color anything remotely decently but I still find myself using them regardless. These markers really force me to have to pay attention rather than just scribbling aimlessly in the negative space. These colors are also VIBRANT! There are no real pastel or light hues of colors, even though it looks like it from the swatches. Next time I might buy the bigger box, if you're wanting specifically light hues, but it could be just the ink is very pigmented. I think I do prefer the regular fine tips to these only because they're bigger and cover more space for a normal coloring book with minimal detail. I don't one hundred percent think I will buy these again but only because they're just not what I was looking for with what I am doing which is just regular coloring from a regular coloring book. Nothing fancy, and these might just be too fancy for me. Otherwise, truthfully a decent marker that is actually finer than the original fine tips, cheap, and still really pretty.

Love this marker set
Great variety of colors. I bought these for my coloring books and I love them. My son is always borrowing them and writing notes with them.

Not amazing, unfortunately
I'm an avid colorer and color adult coloring books with thick paper stock. The raving reviews made it seem like Crayola finally got it right by getting into the adult coloring tools market. Unfortunately, these are simply not great. They write well and could definately benefit those who journal. But for coloring, even fine areas, they are not. They overwork the paper, all seem to be very dark in color, and no matter how slow or light touch you use, they are scratchy. They make you think you'll get a wide range of colors but honestly, 95% of the greens cast a dark blue hue so really, not a lot of variety. I guess I'll head back to sharpie ultras. Sorry Crayola but these are subpar so I gave an average rating since they are markers with ink.
