Q: How many blast from one canister?

Maybe one -- this thing is worthless! did not work for me - a couple of blasts but inconsistent and then did not work at all. Do not buy

Q: What is the purpose of the screwable cap on the opposite side of the horn for?

This is used during production to assemble the portion that makes the noise within the horn. You don't need to open it or adjust anything with it. Hope that helps and thanks so much for your interest in our Air Horn. It means a lot to us here at Better Boat.

Q: Is there an expiration date? How long does the air last before you have to buy another one?

Not a date on the container. This thing was basically worthless. Blasts intermittently, most of the time does not work. Save your money do not buy this thing. I give it a zero rating.
