Does it contain lactose/dairy?

If you're wondering about any dairy residue from the fermentation process, I'm not exactly sure if it contains dairy. However, 2 pills wouldn't be enough to cause a noticeable reaction for most people. If you're doing a dairy detox, I would recommend sticking to sauerkraut and things for probiotics, as many of these probiotic populations in pills use dairy.

Has anyone tested for live cultures versus dead?

Is there any difference between each pro-50 cap (not "serving") and each pro-25 cap? they are identical!

They are the same thing. For the Pro-50, you take two capsules a day to get 50 Billion CFU and for the Pro-25 you take one capsule a day to get 25 Billion CFU. You could just take one capsule a day of the Pro-50 and you will have a 25 Billion CFU daily intake.
