Artika Flat Ceiling Light
While these are expensive once the baseplate is installed replacements in the future can be accomplished very quickly. This is the reason I purchased this one to have as a backup in case the light fails in the future. These were originally sold at Costco at a much cheaper price and had I been thinking ahead at the time would have bought several. They work really nice in my bedroom as they supply plenty of light and don’t have a bulky fixture hanging over my head.

A great light source - even better customer support
I purchased and installed 4 of these in a closet ceiling. They went on easily and quickly. After 60 days, 1 failed. Contacted Artika who sent a replacement immediately. I have no problem highly recommending this product. The lighting is brilliant and the units mount flat to the ceiling.Doing an autopsy on the failed unit, it looked like the transformer output connection to the LED panel was loose and shorted. In all likelihood the LED panel and transformer are still okay, but the output connection is fried. Not an easy repair.

better than a florescent ballast
Decent lighting. Installed several for a project. Does not lay flush with ceilings even in perfect conditions because the frame is flimsy

Shocking and Cheap
Don't even bother. Spend the extra $50 and get a proper LED light. These 'LED' Light lasted a mere 10 months before BOTH stopped working. They are cheap and NOT easy to install what so ever. Ordered the lights... one worked and one didn't, perfect, just what I needed. Another 2 week delay for a dimmed lit kitchen. On top of this fiasco, i purchased this unit at $54... 2 weeks later I had to obviously purchase another Artika unit (whilst in the process of returning the faulty unit), price is now $68... 21% increase on a dodgy light at best. Once these two Artika lights burn out on me in less than a year you can probably guess I will be going in a different direction.

Best LED light!
After we mounted the light fixture in the kitchen it has made a huge difference. It is flush to the ceiling leaving only a small gap. The LED light illuminates the entire kitchen area without any problem. The illumination at night is so strong it seems as if it was day light which is perfect when I’m fixing supper. I’m thrilled with my purchase. It looks fantastic!
