Q: This says Moca compatible. What versions of Moca are supported?

I'm using the splitter with a TiVo Mini that uses MoCa 2.0. No problems with it, once I put terminators on all of the unused splitter jacks.

Q: 11Db loss per port for 6 way, the 2 way is only 3 1/2 Db loss. Does this 6 way have 3 1/2 loss when only 2 ports are in use, or is it 11Db regardless?

Loss is determined by the RF coupling topology of the circuit board, not the external wiring. It is a lot easier to get a usable signal throughout your network by having all outputs get the same amount of signal and let the ISP adjust the input signal to whatever you need. It is logical to think that connecting more ports to a load would "draw down" the signal more, but RF signals don't work the same as a garden hose. Does your radio reception drop off when your neighbor turns on his radio? To answer another question this obviously brings up, When everyone watches Netflix, you may run out of bandwidth to stream smoothly, but your actual signal strength does not fade. Finally, be sure to use terminators on any open ports to get the clearest signal. They would not tell you to terminate (load down) all open ports if this would kill the quality of the signal you get.

Q: what is the bi-directional feature for?

It just means the signal can pass thru device in either direction.
