Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy - Nintendo Switch

The atelier series has always delivered in terms of gameplay as well as I aesthetics. The issue I have with the game is the price is expensive compared to what its contemporary prices are. Clearly, the game is made for a particular demographic, but the JRPG elements has always been there, I would love to see another game hopefully not as expensive as this one.

Atelier Ryza and the Secret Hideout was a breath of fresh air when it released, and this sequel took much of those formulas and and refined them. The active combat introduced in the first game is expanded upon and a bit more involved. Alchemy isn’t a puzzle anymore as much as it’s about finding the right combination of ingredients to maximize the traits of your end product.Characters are cute and it’s fun to see how they’ve grown up since the first game. Graphically it’s the best Atelier game to date and looks quite good on the Switch. Fantastic game to kick back in handheld mode and enjoy. If you have yet to play an Atelier game, however, I would recommend starting with the first Ryza game as this is a direct sequel.

Love the game. After playing it for a while, I want to get the original one. Only downside, some decent from Nintendo is only available for digital deluxe version and additional content is not available separately. Decent RPG, free flowing battles, and the ability to upgrade all your gear. Easy enough for a child, but also a good choice for older RPG fans.

This game has beautiful artwork, music, designs and gameplay. I like how you can interact with the Environment like Swimming, Climbing and etc. The fanservice looks a little more amped up than the previous title and I hope it stays that way for future titles. However, trying to get all the dlc will be expensive so proceed with caution.

Game came new and in perfect condition. I pre-ordered it as well, and got my Puni outfit codes. For anyone who pre-ordered and didn't get one, make sure you thoroughly checked through all the folders in your emails if you have them registered to Amazon. That was how I got mine. Aside from that, the game itself is, so far, a wonderful sequel to the first Atelier Ryza. I love that they added features like Ryza's clothes being wet when it rains and such, and being able to climb. The battle system has gotten more advanced too, which I also like. The inside of the cover had really nice artwork in it too, which they didn't have on the physical copy of the first game. And the item synthesis system has a cool skill tree that lets you pick items and skills you want to develop too, though you can develop them all, which is greatly recommended, especially for the gathering skill tree. All in all an amazing sequel and ordered game~

Arrived safe and sound and very happy with this AWESOME game :D

The game itself is great so far. However, I don't have the pre-order bonus (ordered this on Dec. 26, 2020), and I tried looking in the game manual, got to the point in the game where you unlock changing outfits, searched my e-mail and spam folders for a code of some sort, nothing. It's just a cosmetic so it's not that big a deal, but *some* kind of *something* for actually pre-ordering the game would be nice. I don't know who to reach out to either, so I'm leaving this review hoping they'll see it and give me a code. Once I get it I'll probably update my review to 5 stars as long as the game continues to run smoothly.

the game is alot better than the 1st one and love it on the switch. the thing that sucks is no preorder bonus was given and called customer service serval times and still no preorder and kt company said amazon should have the codes but amazon says they dont have it. so its a lost for the customer.

Received the game! So happy to get it! Honestly, get a copy before it’s gone because Ryza 2 is getting harder to find…

I've played about 7 atelier games, ryza 2 is the best so far in my opinion.

Excelente producto, yo preordene el juego y Amazon no me lo dio el DLC de regalo... Yo me fui a la página de koei tecmo de contacto y llene el formulario explicando mi situación en inglés y subí un PDF con foto del DLC, fotos de la caja del juego, y una captura de pantalla de la compra en Amazon donde se vea la fecha y el número de pedido (obviamente ocultando tu info personal) y así me dieron mi código, muy contento con mi compra, recomiendo mucho este juego, lo compras por Ryza pero te quedas por la alquimia.

Compré ambos juegos. Este en particular fue de un proveedor externo a Amazon y me llegó al día siguiente (con prime) y todo bien.
