Still the King: Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones
I finally got my hands on the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones, and they live up to the hype. The noise cancellation is absolutely incredible; it blocks out almost everything, making my commutes so much more peaceful. The sound quality is rich and detailed, perfect for music and podcasts. The Speak-to-Chat function is surprisingly useful, pausing the music when I start talking. They're comfortable to wear for long periods, too. I'm glad I got the UAE version with the 1-year warranty for peace of mind. While they're not the newest model, they're still a fantastic pair of noise-canceling headphones.

Xm4 is the true King of Headphone even in 2024
Before I got the xm4 I have tried the soundcore q30 and the new offering from sennheiser that is accentum plus. Both were decent headphones but uncomfortable to wear for my head . Also out of the box sound was also not great on the aforementioned headphones. So I had to return them both and I was in a dilemma between the Momentum 4 and sony Xm5. But again both these headphones had so much of issues reported against them on reddit which was not the case of xm4.So I went ahead and bought the xm4 which by the way was released in 2020 and still beats even the xm5 when you take into consideration the best all rounder headphones.Sound is great out of the box, but i listen to this with the wavelet app as I don't need that much base and the app gives more to the sound stage as well. And the built quality is simply greatFor comfort I would give it a 10 / 10 .Definitely a great buy in 2025 or for many years ahead too ..just grab this guys

GREAT BUY AT A GREAT PRICE, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
An awesome headphone, absolutely love it, been eyeing to buy this for so long but couldn't as the price was really high everytime at the retail store. Grabbed it right away when happened to stumble upon it at a very good price and being sold by amazon.

Excellent anc, arguable sound
Pros: Anc is incredible, slightly better than the already very good Bose QCs. The app isn't super modern but works well (Android). Nfc and google fast pair are nice bonuses and the touchpad works well enough in my opinion. LDAC is a nice bonus but you have to disable multipoint to use it.Cons: Avoid these if you prefer a neutral/flat sound profile. These have more bass than I like and it ends up making music sound somewhat muddy. While they still sound good, I would definitely recommend Bose QCs instead if this is important to you. It seems like reducing the "clear bass" feature in the app will help with this, a value between -6 and -3 makes them sound better. Also I wish you didn't have to collapse the headband to fit them in the case

MX4 is Perfect !
Perfect! can't wait to buy the new model (6) when it will be out. I don't like the model 5 as it does not fold and looks cheap. This model (4), instead looks and works great!

1 yr use Review: Good Noise Cancellation , BRILLIANT Sound quality, Charges lasts long
Bought this Jan 2021 and I have been using it for a year now, thought I should leave a proper review.I had somewhat unreasonable expectations on noise cancellation (even though I did tons of research on what frequencies they tend to muffle out). Truth is even the best Noise cancelling headphones (this one or Bose Quiet Comforts) will be excellent in completely tuning out constant, low frequency hums (think of airplane or car engine sounds). It will tone down human voices but will not completely eliminate them. Now I was initially quite a bit disappointed by this fact but as it turned out, this was a solid purchase for me regardless. One of the biggest perks of noise cancellation is that with the surrounding sounds lower, you can listen to music/anything at a lower volume - over the long term this will reduce hearing loss and keep ears sensitive. The sound quality is brilliant, the bass just pops out and you can play with the settings in the headphones complementary app to alter to your taste. After using these headphones for a while, I tried on my sister's JBL headphones and the difference was real.It covers the ears fully - I found it a bit 'heavy' on the ears first but its something you get used to.Even though noise cancellation alone doesn't tune out human voices, there are ways to still do so that yield better results with WHM4 (or any higher end noise cancelling headphones) compared to other regular headphones E.g. I turn on Noise cancellation THEN play some cafe sounds or rain noise or white noise and sometimes layer that with some Spotify music. I am then oblivious to all the loud arguments in the living room unless I take my headphones off. Didn't even hear my annoying neighbor ringing the doorbell. The charge lasts quite long, with moderate-intensive use you might have to charge say every alternate day.Bonus tip that I didn't figure out early on: Noise cancellation works even if you use wired mode without Bluetooth. If you are working at a wifi congested place, might work better signal strength wise.
