I needed a refill for my Sensa pen and they changed the cartridge size and style after 2018 or 2020. The space pen cartridge fits perfectly, but don't forget to hold on to your spring when you remove the old cartridge. Writes very smooth.

I like bold tipped pens. The cartridge that comes with the zebra f701 sucks! I needed something better. Tried the easyflow 9000 which I actually really like and use in other pens, but that was a no go. I just couldn't get it to work. Ruined the top end of the refill trying to make it work. Decided to just go ahead and buy the bold fisher pen refill and I'm glad I did. Not only does it write better than the stock zebra refill, but the click is much more satisfying..if that matters to you..but let's be honest here..it matters!! I wouldn't say it's the best writing refill out there, but it's definitely much better than what the zebra f701 comes with and it can write anywhere anytime! Great for my edc zebra f701! I highly recommend it! I should've just got this one to being with. Would've saved me time and irritation trying to get it to work! If you're getting it to replace the original one in the zebra f701 like I did..just make sure to remove the plastic insert that is in the tip of the pen where the tip of the pen comes out of. Cut off just a little piece of the plastic insert to widen it for the tip of the Fisher refill. Put it back in and you're good to go! Oh and you don't need the plastic white adapter that comes with the fisher refill. Just disregard that thing. Good luck and enjoy your fisher refill. I definitely am!

I like the refill a lot, bought several of them for all my pens

I went in search of a bold black pen when I took a job in healthcare at a low-tech place. We write A LOT. Seeing this was 1.6mm I hoped it would stand up to the gel and even a fine line marker I have tried. The problem is, the latter don't last very long. The first thing I noticed about the Fisher Space Pen is how bold it really is. This is not your typical bold point. It's much wider and it really shows up well, whether in originals or copies. I have been using this pen for 2 days straight and it's never skipped, never globbed. It's a ball point on steroids. Today I was so busy I had to write while standing so I put it to the test by writing against a wall. No problem-o. I have small hands, so I inserted this into a small, slim pen I had saved when the ink ran out. I checked online and the old one was compatible with this one and visa versa. It fit perfectly as a refill, using the adapter provided. I though the marker, with its easy flow, would apply the least stress on my hand but this one is easier by far. I haven't felt even the smallest sense of strain, even after writing a long progress note. Yes, a gel or marker will flow more easily, but this glides on the paper just fine and because I can insert it into a pen which fits my hand, it's ten times more ergonomic. Plus, it doesn't have the issues the others do, which are to blur/smear or blob. It's waterproof. If you are seeking a bold pen with umph, this is it. One downside, the thickness of the tip doesn't allow for pretty finishing touches on your penmanship. It makes a good, basic, fat, dark line. It's not a calligraphy pen by any means. It's not for making tiny jots or tittles the way a fine point can. It's for making a statement, for comments which stand out amid the lines and print on forms and for supersonic signatures which say you mean it.
