It took time to adjust to the different feel.
I bought this for my Radrover 6+ step-thru ebike. A major benefit for my situation was the increase in saddle height it provides, which I needed even with a longer seat post. I did need to readjust the saddle position a few times to get it to work properly for me. Take the wrench with you, and stop and adjust. I didn't know what I was looking for, as far as adjusting, until I tried it. At first, I felt somewhat unstable in the saddle, as the saddle is no longer rigidity connected to the seat post. With time, I've grown to really like it. I still like the control I feel when riding my lightweight road bike with rigid seat post, but for this heavy ebike, loaded with gear, it's way better being isolated from the jolts. The spring action along with low inflation 4" fat tires allows for long, comfortable rides, as it lowers the constant vibration. I bought the step-thru model so that I can continue to ride as I age...decreasing the shocks being applied to my spine with this inexpensive part makes a lot of sense!Update: After riding with it over 1500 miles, I found that I needed to retighten the attachment bolts a few times...the seat can work off while riding if bolts are at all loose, so always bring the wrench! I bought a second unit, and carry it as a spare, just in case it should break on a long ride, but so far the original has held up fine. Just keep the bolts tight!

POS…..
Only lasted a year. I’m not obese, followed directions and still broke. I purchased a second one, same result.

Works great if adjusted properly.
If you have the right seat post mount and the right seat and you adjust it correctly, its great!

Worked great until it broke
Update: I weigh 215 pounds. This broke while riding paved pathways on a cold evening.Initial review: So plush on my 4.0 Fat hard tail. It rocks in a natural motion, but the seat angle changes with that, but I knew that would be the case. Once you get used to that, you won’t regret mounting it on something casual - it takes efficiency out of a hard pace. Get it set for your weight and style, and retorque the clamp bolts after some break in.

Interesting idea but I did not like it
I was curious about this as I get some saddle soreness on longer rides and it's an interesting idea. Tried it on my hybrid bike and want to share my assessment. First it's not that easy to install and adjust properly, but I finally got it fitted and tightened up. It does absorb some shock when you ride over bumps but it also adds some unwanted movement to the seat as you ride. If you ride over rough roads the benefits may be worthwhile but I ride mainly over paved roads and the extra movement and feeling of instability was not worth it. When riding over smooth surface it does nothing to reduce saddle soreness which is more a function of cycling shorts and the surface of the saddle. I ended up returning it.

Not great
The fastener doesn’t hold the rails in place. On a routine bike ride the seat kept sliding making the ride uncomfortable. I had to stop multiple times to adjust. So not great
