Great carry-on!
High quality! My teenage daughter has used this 22" carry-on on roadtrips and through international airports and trains, and it has held up great! I will likely buy more when my other suitcases wear out. It is easy to roll because wheels spin in all directions. It's expandable, and a perfect size (until airlines change their requirements).

Nice and Light, broke on first use. Don't buy this garbage
I had high hopes for this luggage but was left as disappointed as an abandoned pet left on the side of the road. $150 with tax and an average of 4 stars for reviews? Sounded good to me, but I should've listened to the 1 star reviews. Price does not equal quality.Wheel broke on first use from the East Coast to Hawaii, loaded with 46 pounds and with 2 sets of criss crossed heavy duty luggage straps to keep the structural integrity. For comparison, the wife and I have the "IT Debonair" luggage in a similar size, and it has traveled well with us for the past 6 years to the Philippines, Grand Canyon NP, Zion NP, Bryce NP, Sedona, Banff, San Francisco, Aruba, the Maldives, Olympic NP, Mt Rainier, Seattle, and Hawaii. Yep, it made the same trip to Hawaii and they're scuffed and scratched up on the surface like the owner of a feral cat, but it's all superficial as all the wheels still glide effortlessly and the retractable handle works flawlessly.Unlike this garbage. It looks like Evander Hollyfield's ear after Mike Tyson bit off a chunk of it. Save your money and get something durable. Seriously. You might want to roll the dice and take your chances, but you'll end up like me with a broken suitcase, going "I should've listened to those one star reviews."

Loved it...except for the wheels
I love this suitcase for the size, the expanding feature, extra compartments! But on my 2nd trip using it when I got to the airport, I noticed 1 wheel had started coming apart like old re-cap tires & I had to drag it to baggage check in, then through my hotel & back through the airport again to go home. By the time I got home from dragging it around on vacation, a 2nd wheel was coming apart. It's such a great suitcase & price that I hate to have to tell this story...but it would be a perfect product if they update the wheels!

A Reliable Travel Companion with Room for Improvement
I recently purchased the U.S. Traveler Aviron Bay Expandable Softside Luggage with Spinner Wheels in Purple, specifically the 30-inch variant, for my upcoming trip. Having used it extensively, I can provide an honest and thorough review of this product. While it offers several commendable features, there are a few areas that could use improvement.First and foremost, the expandable feature of this luggage is truly impressive. It provides ample space for packing, allowing me to fit in all my essentials and even some extra items. The added flexibility comes in handy, especially when returning with souvenirs and gifts. The zippers are smooth and durable, ensuring that the expansion doesn't compromise the integrity of the luggage. However, it is worth noting that when fully expanded, the luggage becomes bulkier and may exceed the size restrictions of some airlines. The spinner wheels on the Aviron Bay luggage are a game-changer. They glide effortlessly across various surfaces, including smooth airport floors and uneven pavements. Maneuvering through crowded terminals and narrow spaces is a breeze, thanks to the smooth and multidirectional spinner wheels. They provide excellent stability and prevent the luggage from tipping over, even when it is heavily loaded. The telescopic handle is sturdy and extends and retracts easily, adding to the overall convenience. One aspect that left me disappointed was the overall durability of the luggage. While it held up reasonably well during my travels, I noticed some signs of wear and tear, particularly on the corners and edges. The fabric seemed prone to fraying, and the stitching could be stronger. Considering the investment I made, I expected a higher level of durability. It would be beneficial for U.S. Traveler to address this issue and reinforce the luggage's construction to ensure it withstands the rigors of frequent travel.Another area where the Aviron Bay luggage fell short was in its organization and storage compartments. While the main compartment was spacious and could accommodate my belongings, I found the lack of smaller pockets and dividers inconvenient. It made it difficult to keep things organized, and I often had to rummage through my belongings to find specific items. Additional interior pockets or a removable divider would greatly enhance the functionality of this luggage, making it more user-friendly.One aspect I appreciated about the Aviron Bay luggage was its lightweight design. Despite the spacious interior, the luggage itself is relatively light, allowing me to maximize my packing without exceeding weight limits imposed by airlines. This was particularly advantageous during my return trip when I had accumulated more items. The lightweight nature of the luggage reduced strain on my arms and back, contributing to a more comfortable travel experience. The TSA-approved combination lock featured on the Aviron Bay luggage is a convenient security measure. It provides peace of mind knowing that my belongings are safe and protected during transit. The lock is easy to set and reset, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the contents. However, the lock mechanism itself feels somewhat flimsy, and I question its long-term durability. A sturdier lock mechanism would enhance the overall security aspect of this luggage.Lastly, I want to mention the aesthetic appeal of the Aviron Bay luggage. The purple color option I chose is vibrant and eye-catching, making it easy to spot on the baggage carousel. The overall design is sleek and modern, exuding a sense of sophistication. While appearance may not be the most crucial factor when it comes to luggage, it's always nice to have a visually appealing travel companion. In conclusion, the U.S. Traveler Aviron Bay Expandable Softside Luggage with Spinner Wheels in Purple is a mixed bag in terms of performance. Its expandable feature and smooth spinner wheels make it a reliable travel companion, allowing for easy maneuverability and efficient packing. However, there are areas that could use improvement, such as durability, organization, and the lock mechanism. If U.S. Traveler addresses these concerns, it has the potential to be an exceptional piece of luggage that caters to the needs of frequent travelers.

Amazing Storage and Perfect Design!
I waited to write this review. I read reviews and decided to take a chance based on the size and design which is exactly as I’d wanted.I have taken this bag on 4 trips, 3 flying and not carried on. I was shocked and worried when it arrived at how cheap it seemed but this bag is one of the only soft sided bag with two front pockets for my toiletries and make up bag with spinner wheels and is VERY light.I am amazed and all I can pack and more so when I can easily zip it all up. I pack it with the gusset open and then zip the gusset to keep it from tipping.I wish the quality were better but this bag is perfect to meet my needs and so far it is holding up well. I’m very happy with this!

Looks great, but broke after first use.
I purchased several months ago for two upcoming trips. I was excited about this luggage because it rolls really nicely. I used the smaller bag as a check on about a month ago, and the handle started having issues first time I used it. It constantly falls down when I’m trying to move with the bag. Fast forward to a trip I took to Europe this week. Upon return, the larger bag does not roll anymore (also the first time I used it). There is something wrong with the wheels. I did check the bag with the airline, so that may have been what caused it to break. But if it’s that poorly made that it can’t withstand being checked with an airline, what’s the point? I’ll get my luggage at kohls or Marshall’s next time. I will likely have to throw the large bag away. One use. Not durable at all.
