I am 70 and I use this for night light I really want to collect them to have around..I just keep mine plugged in easy to change the colors. I got a remote to use and it’s just the right size to fit in your hand it’s flat and easy for me to keep track of. It can get very bright to read by ..I got the sleeping kitten I love looking at it and have received compliments on it as well…

This light is so incredibly cute. Several reviewer's have mentioned it is very squishy. It certainly is squishy, but if you plan on leaving it in one location, I don't think that is an issue. Touching it to control the features uses hardly any pressure, again squishy isn't an issue there either. The number of touches controls on/off and several other features. For example, it takes 5 touches to turn it off.The remote didn't work at first. I turned the device on and off via the control button on the bottom. Then the remote worked from a few inches away. After that it worked fine from a distance. Perhaps it has to do with how the light is turned on initially or it needed time to sync? Also, the remote works while the light is on a battery and while the light is plugged in. It uses a micro usb cable to recharge, which was included.The colors on the remote button seem off a bit. For example the green button on the top row of colored buttons does make the light turn green, but the green button directly below that one actually looks more blue than green. Not a major issue at all. The flashing/blinking/color changing buttons all seem to work fine. But wouldn't recommed some of those choices if you are sensitive to flashing lights (photosensitive epilepsy). As some of the colors change rapidly. Though I haven't tried EVERY feature yet or the timer.The plug slot is too small for charging. And if I don't have any issues (no need to return it), I may go in and CAREFULLY cut the hole a little bigger at a later date.I plan on using this night light to enter my bedroom after my husband is asleep. I placed the remote close to the entry to turn on the light. Then I plan on tapping the light to turn it off after I'm in bed. It should work great for that purpose.

Very cute and works as stated. Love the colors. Only problem is it is very sensitive, if you put anything on the table next to it, it either goes back to white or rotates through the colors.

I am really happy with these night lights. I have 3 now (for our house and grandmas house). My favorite feature is the ability to change the brightness. In general I think my kids sleep better without any lights on, but they tell me they are afraid of being alone in the dark (understandable). These cute cats comfort them - like a guardian friend. My son loves to choose a new color every night, and I love how dim I can make the light. I believe there is a timer feature, but I’ve never used it. The battery lasts all night (at least 11 hours - it may last even longer), and then I plug it in to charge up in the morning. The light taps on and off. I like that there is an actual power button on the bottom as well, and on and off buttons on the little remote. Highly recommend. The cat is adorable.

My daughter loves this nightlight. It’s really cute, the material is soft (both to the touch and in movement, so I don’t worry about her rolling onto it and getting hurt) and I love that it’s rechargeable (no button batteries to worry about). We love the timed sleep options (15, 30, or 60 minutes) and it has lots of color & brightness options. The only downside, in my opinion, is how easily you can change the colors. Ours starts out bright white but if you bump it or tap it lightly, it changes to soft white, yellow-ish and then RED. The red is kind of creepy and you stumble into so easily.. to get most of the other colors, I’d have to use the remote control.Overall, it’s a great purchase for any parent looking for a cute nightlight for their little one.

This is as good as it looks! I love it and will be purchasing more when I need a gift for a young one (or when this one dies, lol). This is an excellent portable, rechargeable, soft night light. It is made from silicon like material, like the silicone baking stuff. It would be perfect for pretty much any age, I think even a cat lover adult could appreciate it. Works perfect as a night light, it can go in bed with them.The remote is not great but my daughter doesn’t care. The buttons just don’t sling with what they say. If you push the blue button red will come in, or if you push the flash button, it will fade instead. Again, this does not matter to me. All the buttons work, just backwards.I don’t know about battery life or durability but it seems well made, no imperfections or anything. I love it so much though, if it died quickly I would probably still buy more, lol!

Our daughter loved this light while it worked, but it only lasted us 18 months before it stopped charging. We tried different chargers and outlets, but noticed each time that the charger would get hot to the touch (not good). I even tried charging it through my laptop and got a warning saying the USB device was pulling too much power. After that, it still wouldn't turn on.This is the second one we've had that stopped working. (The first one didn't even last a day.)
