Comes with short usb C to usb C cable, and an adaptor for type A to C, you'll find best performance when using a usb c port on your computer. However, this drive is backwards compatible. Plug and play, no need for any software, unless you wish to encrypt the drive with a password.As its solid state it is silent. The drive can get warm when transferring large amounts of data, but otherwise remains one of the fastest options for transferring large files, or data sets.
